Chef Cash Caris and Anahita Cann are the owners of Pyro s Pastrami, a homemade pastrami sandwich pop-up they operate near a train station in Jack London Square in Oakland, CA. A staple in NY-style delis around the east coast, pastrami is relatively unknown in the Bay Area; but Pyro s is still a popular destination for diners who know the food or are just learning to love it. Paul: Awesome. I love love love pastrami. I may have to try making this. I smoke and sell smoked pork belly salmon and cheese. I make my own Garlic dill pickles I would love to try your pastrami but I live in Southern California. I'm HAPPY for you and your business

I have stopped eating meat. I love the taste of beef, chicken etc. But then I thought imagine if we treated humans like that. So say we picked a percentage of humans to breed only for human consumption? Would you be alright with that?
Fact: a pig has the same intelligence as a 3 year old toddler. Would you eat a toddler?
It all boils down to indulgence because of our taste buds.

The First seconds made me think: Oh god you are so unnaccesible and so hidden and so pro and so unique and you sell a lot you are so hipster. Woow I'll go get your pastramis all the way from Mexico City.

You don't need a giant menu that's ok, you just need one thing that you do very well that's homemade and people will come. You're also going to save money on food costs and time spent on prep.
