It's Chard Week on THE SAM LIVECAST, and we start with a simply delicious saut of this great vegetable under a creole spiced pork chop. And if you can't make this in 10 minutes or so, you're trying to cook it with your feet

Ah ha! So you have been to New Jersey. Good for you Sam. But the question remains since I haven't seen you do it yet. Did you have a pork roll egg and cheese while you were here? And please don't say taylor ham. That's just crazy talk. Maybe the next time you're in Jersey, the Pork Roll Festival will be happening. My man, Scott Miller runs one of them as does my dude, TC who runs the other. Yes there are two, but I'm not going to talk about that here. Anyone can google it. Trenton, baby!

Big difference between Cajun and Creole. Creole is African/french/Spanish/Caribbean. Usually found in the city more because of the slave trade. Cajuns/Acadians are french settlers usually in the rural/country. Both distinct, both great cultures and history.

Thanks Sam. Been cooking more and using some of your great tips. Good to know about the meat/protein not being super cold when you start cooking. Been cooking the chicken onion pesto like crazy. So good.

Sam you'll be pleased to know at this very moment have pork chops marinating in my fridge for 24 hours in a mix of olive oil, SAZON seasoning, smashed garlic, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

Awesome tips for cooking pork chops, watched this video mainly for the swiss chard. I like to use my own seasonings for the pork chops though. love your videos!

I need to harvest my silverbeet (chard) tommorrow. This recipe looks great! I will try it out without chicken. Prefer lamb and beef over chicken anyday!
