10: 02 Look. I'm not some kind of hippy that goes around telling people what they should and shouldn't do, but it really seems like hiding the fact that you're putting peanut sauce on a food you'd never expect to have peanut sauce on it is a great way to kill your friend.

Sam, you crack me up in your videos! I don’t really smoke weed but I feel we need to smoke weed together sometime lol. Or maybe just a nice scotch and do some cooking. Love your recipes. You are always funny, entertaining and informative! Keep up the work, brother.

I’ve smoked a lot of racks of ribs and used raspberry chipotle or peach habanero bbq sauce sometimes and even some hot honey smoked ribs but I don’t think i could make myself put peanut butter on them. They did look good and you did a nice presentation though.

I’ve been making ribs in the oven and finishing them on the grill for years - it’s the best way to do it if you don’t have a smoker. Lately I’ve been finishing mine over charcoal for the added flavour. I wonder if that would work with PBFJ ribs

Peanut butter and jam Why not blue cheese and pineapple
Pork ribs are best in the simplest manner: grilled bare, seasoned with salt and eaten with the hands. Period. No sauce. No rub. Barely any oil. If the meat is good, the meal will be perfect.

Hey Sam, for Canada Day, I went to Vancouver a couple of months ago, and the McDonalds there had a burger called the Big Arch. which is two patties, three slices of white cheddar, crispy onions, lettuce and sauce. You should make that!

I am tempted to step up the peanut sauce to a full on Thai Satay Peanut Sauce with the added umami of fish sauce and shrimp paste on top of the red Thai chilies from the red curry paste. I love your creativity!

I know you're pushing the raspberry hard in this one, but the whole time watching I was thinking apricot. I know you poo-poo'd it at the end, but apricot is still the best and most underrated PB&J going.

You are CORRECT, STCG! Although people are familiar with vinegar as a liquid, many do not know that acetic acid (the acid in vinegar) can exist as a gas, so the acid will come into contact with the pork.

Actually looks pretty phenomenal! A bit thrown off. This isnt making my bowel preps easy today! But holy snap! Help me add money into my wallet. Help me make wonderful sushi at home! Come on already!

This, but on pulled pork instead of ribs. Slam the pulled pork roasted in the PB & Hot-honey sauce on some fresh sliced bread with the jelly sauce. PB & J - Pulled pork sandwiches to die for.

I'm watching just because I love your videos. But, after practically living on PB&J (and pancakes etc. during a pregnancy with twins in 1980 - I cannot do the PB. Jelly is still OK. lol

Personally, I would brush the raspberry on while the ribs are still on the grill to let it form a nice caramelized glaze but these still look incredible. I love the Chunkified Dust!
reply

Don't let anyone tell you that you can't put peanut butter and jelly on ribs but God help you and a curse onto your family if you don't use raspberry jelly! Interesting flex there.

My mom used to make a pork roast using grape jelly and yeah, OMG delicious. Another recipe from my wife, she used Heinz chili sauce and Kahlua liquor for BBQ ribs and other meats.

I don't know if it's ever been said but I love when you all just time some time to be silly and have fun. It's so refreshing. Also I recommend apricot and gochujang glaze for ribs.

Chunkified Dust, that was amazing to watch. I just had dinner like an hour ago. I’m still wanting to cook these. Well, there’s always the time when the weekend hits.

Id be curious how a healthier version of this would do. So just pure 100% peanut spread and a cassis or raspberry compot without added sugar. I might try this

If you have ever been to Treylor Park restaurant in Georgia and Florida and had the PB&J wings, then you know this will work. Sam should do it with wings next
