I really wanted to hate these, as a tradition bbq guy, making ribs in the oven is almost as bad as boiling them; BUT, I get not everyone has access to a fancy smoker or possess the time/skill/patience it takes to do traditional bbq. All that said, you KILLED it! I actually want to try this, even though I have an expensive ceramic cooker, Id like to duplicate your results and method. That cocktail was also equally inspiring. I cook with alcohol way more than I drink it but I could try that butter-bourbon old fashion. Great video, cant wait to see what you do in 2020!

Take a tip from real Japanese person born and raised in Nhawaii, teriyaki marinade is 1 cup aloha shoyu, 1 cup white sugar, tons of garlic and equal amounts plus a little bit more of fresh ginger. Ginger should be grated with the fine side of a box grater, no need to peel ginger. Marinade butterflied chicken thighs overnight. DO NOT REMOVE SKIN, COOK SLOWLY CHARRING SKIN, LEAVE THE BONE IN. YOUre on the right track with the Mac salad and rice, sprinkle green onions, sesame seeds( optional) ALOHA FROM MAUI KEEP ON COOKING!

Pretty sure the ice being cloudy has to do with the ice freezing from the outside first towards the center, which pushes all the air inwards as it freezes. I think to get clear ice you need to have a way to freeze from the bottom to the top so that the air pushes upwards and out of the ice instead of towards the center. I might be completely wrong though as I am not scientist. That's just what makes sense to me

Quick tip on the shitty mic, just take the audio file and run it through a normalization process, maximize and expand the vocals using a +6db maximizer boost, and run through a vocal audio process like voiceover, manually remove hiss and clean up audio, normalize one last time, and you'll actually match the vocal audio quality of your good mic and no one will know the difference. Anyhow, love your videos!

Sam my wife and I have successfully enjoyed making many of your recipes! We are yet to try this ribs method in the oven but have managed to smoke them with good results but I'm sure the oven baked method is quicker and just as good if not better. Could you use this oven method to do a pork belly roast? If possible please could you do a pork belly roast one day. Would love to try your take on it.

Sitting here binge watching your videos and let me tell you I'm so thankful for it because my dad passed away 4-19-19. He used to do all the cooking for his family that he loved so much. So much that we didn't have to lift a finger for a very long while lol which made me rusty as well as my mom. I've made some great stuff thanks to you. Please don't stop uploading you're doing wonderful

Absolutely disappointing. I get that he didnt want to use one of the smokers behind him (to show an alternative for those who dont own smokers) but not a very creative method here. Cider vinegar, cover with foil and in the oven? Way too long in the oven. No rub. Thats it? Thats the best you could do? I expected more from this.

You could do the same ribs without the inside kitchen oven I would think, if needed. Although I would like to plug Texas Roadhouse, Got some Ribs there togo today (Corona, freaking awesome. Hey Sam Love your stuff. Kudos. I'd like to see ya do some lobster, calamari, scallop type stuff one of these days.
