Showing you how to make the juiciest oven baked chicken EVER with this surprisingly easy recipe! evansart1: I lived in Nebraska for 3 years and had a farmer friend raise a few chickens for us. She called me and told me that the chickens were 'ready'. Okay so I thought. we have to find a way to 'kill' them. so I thought well, we have a paper cutter that should do the job. Well, it didn't! The damn chickens were running around with their necks dangling. My farmer friend Jeannie ( a big woman) just stepped on the chickens and ripped their heads off! I am SO glad to be back in New England and BUYING my chicken! Ha! Thought you might like this story and by the way. I can't wait to try this recipe!

I have been a chef for many years and that looked undercooked and the temperature check can often be misleading as blood can remain by the bones, it looked undercooked. I have been a chef in top restaurants over 12 years and a chef in total for over 17 years. Also him owning a restaurant means nothing, u can see that the chicken was raw in parts or borderline between cooked n uncooked, either way its a risky looking chicken n not appetising looking at all.

Hey Bob! I watched your video on the how to of making this roast chicken and wanted to let you know I made this yesterday and it turned out FABULOUSLY MOIST AND DELICIOUS as was predicted. Oh my, the breast meat was soooo juicy and tender (and I'm not a huge fan of white meat) Thank you for this recipe and love your refreshingly different, casual, funny, sometimes irreverent style of cooking! I got a better way to bake a whole chicken, just do same mix of powdered garlic, pepper, salt, etc mix it with mayo and mustard and rub the chicken with it generously. Bake as usual and you will have the juiciest and tender chicken, the mayo does the trick to tenderize and soften the chicken meat and the flavor is delicious. I do it for a whole chicken or chicken pieces, it never lets me down

When you finished cleaning the chicken try to wash it with water and vinegar then dry it out, the vinegar will soften the hard tissue and will tender it and try to use butter instead of avocado oil and add on some onion powder and paprika to your spices it will make a delicious difference, also stuff it with raw garlic and bay leaf and raw onion with the fresh lemon you will taste the change.

That is a super recipe, so easy, and inexpensive. When I am done with that chicken carcass, we always boil it with all the scraps and an onion or whatever and make our broth, Use a new Mason Jar lid set, boiled hot and can be sealed for months, several meals from that yummy chicken who was just Pecking around the Yard with her friends for us, Loved that Chicken, ;->

Umm. Sam honey child. on behalf of black people and Gordon Ramsay ( The one white guy who DOES wash chicken. You supposed to clean that chicken before you do ANYTHING. Pat dry is super unsanitary and breeding ground for a salmonella party. Love ya videos, great cook, but ya cant rag on Rachel Ray when you cookin a e-coli roast

I am team Max. He is higher class than you as he doesn't curse and carry on. Like a 2 year old as you do sometimes. Several people have requested that you stop cursing but you dont listen. You have to learn somehow and I'm guessing this is it. Ugg! Wash the chicken, dont be so lazy.

I'm always astonished by people who are grossed out by touching a chicken/removing its innards. 1) It's a chicken. Yeah, it used to be alive; it's got organs. Recognize what your food is and where it comes from. 2) Don't be scared to touch it. You can always wash your hands.

I really appreciate your comment on the bird's life and the responsibility you feel to honor that life (my interpretation) by cooking it the best you can in the best way possible. It points out and hilights our relationship to our food and the life it once had. Well said!
