Cmon, Tasty people I know a bunch of chefs know that the drinks that dont contain tea (the apple, yerba mate, and hibiscus drinks) are tisanes, not teas. Its simple: no camellia sinensis in it, its tisane, not tea.

Made the Taiwanese bubble tea and it was so delicious and surprisingly simple. Oolong tea could also be used besides black tea, and milk could be substituted for half-and-half. Works just fine.

Do. Not. Add. Milk. To. Hibiscus. Tea. Hibiscus tea is quite acidic, and 9 times out of 10 it WILL CURDLE THE MILK. Pretty telling that they dont show the tea from the side, eh?
