Grab some Birdies beds: What an epic project with Kehlani! Hope this video gives you a sense for how to build a garden from scratch, from placement to plant selection to soil. Had an absolute blast and want to do more in the future. let me know who I should collab with next!

Great video. How about building a vegetable garden at an elderly persons centre? The height of Birdies Raised Beds is perfect for less agile gardeners, many of whom, with failing memories, would be sure to remember growing veggies in their youth. Just getting outside and being in a living green environment would be therapeutic for so many. Also the health benefits to the elderly of eating fresh organic food cannot be under estimated.
Could I ask if there was a reason you did not use more green or woody waste, cardboard or bark chippings to bottom fill the raised beds before adding compost?

Love seeing the progression from start to finish. I am a retired elementary teacher who started a school garden, but now I have the time to garden for myself. Live in San Diego with a unique property. We have an unobstructed panoramic water view but. it has been sorely neglected, has a steep slope with clay soil and we get strong winds. I'm thinking. do a backyard makeover with your friend Sara (The Yardist!

Whats with the culvert material. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like crap! Why wouldnt give you something better for the boxes? I understand that itll never tear your rate and you never have to paint. But I definitely rather have something nice to look at then something durable

You may have mentioned in a past video where you get large enough hats for your head, but I have this issue as well and desperately need help. In particular I'm looking for a nice straw hat that I can convert into a beekeeping veil since none of them at my local store fit me.

Great videos. One question. You make such a great effort to grow the most nutritious organic food on the planet, then you go buy the least nutritious food on the planet for you to eat for yourselves. No colorful, phytonutrient and plant protein rich salads nearby to buy?

I didn't know who Kehlani was either until now but because I know she is into gardening I'm going to start listening to her music. I love that she wants to grow food to give away to others. She hasn't lost her humanity from becoming a wealthy celebrity. Kudos to Kehlani.

That arbor with the passionfruit is going to be so stunning once the passionfruit has put n some growth. It's a really pretty arbor in general. Maybe I missed it, but did you say where it's from or put a link to it somewhere? Love what Jacques, your team and you do!

This vid made me def want the Birdies beds but they are out of stock because of you and Kehlani probably! Lol. Very nice set up and its awesome when friends come together to collaborate on such a perfect garden. Gotta adopt that collab culture to get more done!

Who should I collab with next! P. S. Few FAQs: I didn't install this for free and we tried our best to get soil delivered in bulk, but 15+ vendors wouldn't agree due to the location, so we went with a bagged mix!

I've been watching your videos for a few years now (cant tell you how big of a help they have been) just wondering if you are planning on any more ones like this? one of my favorite clips I've seen so far

Can you design raised beds using old pallets not everyone can afford store bought stuff. repurpose old pallet videos for gardens. I use for benches with blocks and dismantled pallets wood

I love how you show other's garden as well! I'm in North Texas and I have not made any garden friends in my area. No one at my rate of gardening anyways. which is at this level. Lol

I'm in one of the most fertile areas in the U. S. and our dirt is soooo black we are very blessed, it's so interesting to see the differences.
