Well done, Erik, well done indeed! Your videos have shown us how much you, have learned to master every challenge you've encountered while constructing that masterpiece of a traditional log cabin. It is also obvious that you have the patience of Job, as you carefully and skillfully cut and placed every one of those huge logs into place, as well as all the details of cutting out the windows and doorway. You've also demonstrated your skills in other areas as well, such as stone masonry, iron working and cellar-building. As always, I greatly anticipate your next videos. Oh, by the way, love those spectacular shots of the surrounding mountains as well. Cheers dude!

Your building and craft skills are impressive, especially by yourself but two things could use improvement for your long term health and safety. Depending on your strength and back to move large objects is one. Both your slabs of stone, big rocks and porch post could have been much less strain by using methods to lift and move with pulleys, small logs, pivot stones and jacks. All makeable. Plus, safety glasses, gloves, pry bars, wedges in conjunction a must. otherwise I am very appreciative of your work ethic and knowledge. Isolation makes it even more important to protect yourself.

Hello Erik. I am always amazed at your use of traditional methods and how well you do them. I own a Tennessee farmhouse that began as a log cabin in 1833. There are wonderful stone chimneys. foundations. fences and a monumental stone springhouse. The split stone with drill holes shows it was done just as you do it. Your craftsmanship is also outstanding in filmmaking. When one of your videos is posted I always wait to view it when the sun is down and I can sit back with a cup of coffee and immerse myself into the beauty you create. Thank you.

Erik I have been meaning to ask you how do you take care of any mail, insurance, running costs etc. I don't mean to pry, but I envy your way of life. Were I still younger then this would be for me. I used to cut a lot of wood, but nothing like you do. I wish I had become a carpenter, but my life took a different turn.
Anyway, I look forward to your future projects. Greetings from Germany. Btw. I think you forgot to lock the door. Anyway, looking forward to future progress.

Erik, you should be so proud and self-satisfied with your accomplishments. I have enjoyed watching not only the progress of the build but your personal progress. Your dedication to detail is unquestionable. Your confidence in your building techniques and skills is amazing, not to mention the improvements of your video quality. Kudos to you!

Everything about your videos is beautiful. The landscape, the cabin, the wildlife, the video editing, the serenity and, of course, the Goodest Boi. I remember seeing a video where he was just a puppy and I have only just realised I don't know his name. I hope your squished finger healed fast. It looked really painful.

As always, splendid work, Erik! Being out there alone, do take care you have a way to contact someone, if an accident happens. Those large stones were a bit much for one to handle, but you did it skillfully. Beautiful scenery! You chose a truly fantastic place to build your cabin!

Incredible workmanship! You are an inspiration, not many people your age would be willing to do what you are doing. They are lazy and believe that the world owes them and are unwilling to do the work to get true satisfaction in life. Keep up the good work Erik!

You're doing an excellent job Erik. The place is looking great! I've watched this cabin take shape from bottom to top and have learned and enjoyed every minute of it. Your hard work is so inspiring. Keep making these videos, I'll keep watching them my friend.

I see him struggle with those rocks and I think: wow, those rocks must be heavy. And then I see him hoist those timbers up from the ground and shoulder them and I edit my original thought: wow, those rocks must have been really heavy.

Nice work. Also, this is a great advertisement for Sweden. Also, this is a great advertisement for the natural environment of planet Earth - so please don't ruin it with plastic, Coke. And please don't drill, drill, drill, Trump.

I am simply horrified: no one talked about Erik's bloody hands. Tell me where, and I will send him a few dozen work gloves, it is unacceptable to work, especially stone, without adequate protection for hands!

Been watching you for a while, and always admired your grit and dedication to whatever you set your mind to. I never clicked on a JOIN button so fast - it would be my pleasure to keep supporting you, Erik.

I can't think of anything more 'manly' than walking through the woods, shirtless, in the rain, carrying half a tree over my shoulders. Fair play my friend.

My Grandfather was on a Demolition crew way, way back before there were Jack-Hammers. This made me think of that.
All manual sledgehammer destruction.

At this point I'm not sure he lives there. There's absolutely no storage inside for food, cooking utensils, clothing, everyday needs, even dog food!
