Two Fall Container Ideas Garden Answer Interlude: Can you please do fall and winter arrangements for balcony flower boxes? I have three hanging flower boxes on my balcony and I want something pretty in there for fall and winter. I live in western Germany and the winters are usually rainy and cold (sometimes with night frost, but usually never lower than a couple degrees below freezing. I would like some color in there but don't have a lot of experience with grasses and none blooming flowers. Also arranging something in a long, narrow box is different from a round or square one where you can have a larger centerpiece. I could really use some inspiration on that.

I love that you list the names of the plants on the description. What i dont like about big pots is that they take so much dirt and so much plants it can be soo pricey but i love to see you doing it. I have learn from you that is important to put plants with the same water need if they like it dry or moist you show to put the same kind together and i used to make the mistake of mixing them because a lot of plant dont come with water need description so now i look online all these details i learn from you.

These are spectacular Laura. I never am able to find any kind of petunias etc by the time fall approaches and hate to rip out the summer ones too early. Could make additional containers but don't want things to look too crowded. Will have to figure something to do like this and set it in a place out in the gardens where the flowers inground have gone over or finished. I think it would add a lot of pop to an otherwise fading garden time of the year.

hi, wow lovely arrangements! beginner question. i see you kind of jam the rootbulb in and they are all close together but you dont seem to add in more soil around the bulbs. is that ok to do? is it because you have soil underneath and you expect the roots to move downwards? thanks!

[Link Here== deam. design/lnhv is exactly what I have been searching for. The photos and text are inspiring, and what makes it that is due to their styles and other things involved. You can use it and decide how you want your landscape design should be.

If you plant perennials in containers, can you leave the containers out in the winter? In the snow and sub freezing weather? How often would you have to water them, or would they go dormant?

Love these, but was so disappointed that I cannot get a single one locally. Proven winter only has 2 in stock. Wish the video would've included some plants that are accessible right now.

I do have a question since those are all mostly perennial will they survive in a pot the winter? That worries me because i wont be able to put them inside is just not an option.
