Gorgeous Shade Arrangement in Window Boxes Garden Answer seriously? : Save on your planting budget by placing interesting perennials in your pots and planters so all you have to do is add one or two annuals to the arrangement to complete the ever blooming aspect of the color scheme. I substitute lambs ear for dusty Miller for vertical interest, creeping Jenny for sweet potato vine and snow-in-summer for a white and silver cascade, dwarf blue fescue or mondo grass for that gorgeous blue green color and spiky texture. In pots is very easy to dig up a perennial and divide to keep it small so for years I have barely spent but a few dollars on petunias and a geranium or two to make up my patio and large garden pots.

I can only wish for you to come to my home and with your stylish eye show me how to make my landscape what I wish it could be. I'm on a hill all around me and it's so difficult to figure out how to make it beautiful. I've installed a small water garden and oh my the work I've put into my flower garden. its an everyday task. but in my heart I love it. I just dont km now how to do the rest of my yard. maybe one day. my wish will come true and someone. maybe even you. can make it beautiful for me. sending you much love and thanks for all your videos! Truely beautiful

Love the color combinations and am always looking for shade plants. Thanks for the tips. Just one comment on the creeping jenny. it is totally INVASIVE in our area so beware when you say to put it in the yard! I CAREFULLY use it in hanging baskets, but just a tiny clip will root itself and be horrible to try to get out. So. depending on where you live and your soil, just BEWARE!

How are your beautifully white window boxes still looking like new season after season? Mine are already staining after just one year. I use quarter inch tubing to irrigate to minimize splashing but the planter shows stains pretty much wherever the foliage rests on itmost likely from ambient dust and moisture getting trapped beneath

Beautiful window boxes and arrangement. Glad too see the kitty indoors and not outside around stray cats that could infect him with life threatening diseases! The birds should thank you too as so many millions of our native birds are killed off by free roaming cats, which are not native to our environment.

One of my front windows get more sun than the other, which is full shade. What could I plant in each so they aren't different since they are both on the front of the house?
