Spring Arrangement with Tulips Garden Answer 211ssw: I love your videos! I binge watch often but with this I must give a bit of geographical update since my mouth dropped open when you stated your month's cost for TV service & mine includes Wifi with Comcast/xfinity- ours is far more expensive at $275/month (PA, an hour outside Phila) You're very fortunate in many, many ways but apparently your expenses in E. Oregon are quite low.
I'm nearing the end of quite a length of binge watching of your videos! I ran into quite a number of videos never seen & that's rare so, I stayed in that list- clearly you keep me entertained as that went on for so many hours I'm embarrassed to admit it! Keep up the good work!

I LOVE PW! Today I finally found a good supplier, and bought some. Just the fact that they put their information marker in its own special location so you aren't disturbing the roots, so thoughtful! Borderline genius! They had a few pots that were looking wilted (just dried out) and I asked the garden center if they ever give a discount for them. She said no, if they wilt and don't look like they will make it, they throw them out! I almost went dumpster diving. Just starting out, for me, even the scraps seem like gold!

Do you plant the bulbs anytime during the year? You were saying once the foliage yellows then you would plant the bulbs in the garden. But I was wondering if you waited until a certain time of the year. Or do you plant right away?
The 2 pots are beautiful and yes I would spend $50. 00 for these.
Do you ever follow the Farmer's Almanac for when to plant flower and vegetables and when to cut plants back? Etc.

Those are gorgeous! I'm always so amazed at what you pack into a planter. I have to put, together a planter with flowers because I'm always positive I'm going to do it wrong. I am planning to reuse an old metal fire pit ( first lined in plastic, then burlap) and make it into a succulent planter. I'm looking at different succulents to pit in there. Right now the spot is in indirect sunlight.

US$25 per pot for the plants alone, is reasonable for US. Where I am, the tulips if they offer it, each plant alone will cost at least US$12 for me here and the smaller plants probably range from US$4 - $8 (even if I use other substitute plants. So one pot will end up easily US$70. But we don't need to repot or take it out, if it survives and can enjoy it for at least 1 year I suppose.

I had a set of planter barrels just like that! Very popular! When I put an ad on Craigslist to sell them, it started a plantar barrel frenzy! People went nuts! I must have underpriced them. never do that! People were arguing, begging and pleading and carrying on in my garage. one lady knew I had one more that I wasn't selling and wouldn't leave. I had to push her into her car and run!

Could you store the tulips in the black liner pot and just swap out the entire insert for a summer display? I was thinking if I stored it correctly I could just replant around the tulips again next spring? I have a courtyard garden and not very much landscape to transfer the bulbs to. I love gardening in pots but haven't used bulbs before. Thank you xx

50 dollars for 2 containers filled with so many gorgeous plants is a super duper price. It wouldn't stop me. Always love watching what you do. I will try to copy you, if that's ok? Thank you so much for sharing, and all the best to both you and Erin from me in Denmark - Europe. (I think we are a zone 5 too here in Denmark, but I am not sure? Lol)

Pretty, as always. Thank you for including pricing information. It's especially helpful when thinking of trying to duplicate the look. Please consider including consumer pricing even when you use flowers from your shop. I know prices vary by location but an average cost would still be helpful and much appreciated.

You said these would last a couple of months and then you would put the plants in other places. The tulips are not going to last for two months are they? Once they open they just don't last that long. Reason I don't like bulbs. You wait and wait and then the plant blooms the one time and then slowly dies back. Bummer!
