Bloomerang Purple Reblooming Lilac Garden Answer Audrey: I love all the videos you post! I do the same thing with the tags. I started with succulents last year so I got a binder and baseball card holders (the clear things you put in the binders. I cut the pointy part of the tag & use double sided tape & tape them into each slot, there's 9 slots per sheet. I'll be doing the same thing worth my flower bed plants, but organize them by bed/zones with a diagram of the location too (because this is new to me & I don't know plant names yet. )

I just have to say, that I love your videos. I have always enjoyed gardening to the fullest. I have had a recent life changing event with my health and work and so i am at home and enjoying learning any and everything I can from your videos. My next project is to create a small, butterfly garden. I am in Columbus Ohio, what do you suggest, zone 6. Thanks.

You made an awesome video on different types of hydrangeas. I really loved it (ty) is was very informative. I dont know if you have one on different varieties of lilac bushes. If you do I cannot find it, if you do not maybe you can squeeze it in w/the million other things that you both do. Lol. I guess Im just looking for something very fragrant. Zone 4b.

I love your videos and your expertise. I realize the lilacs are going to grow the perfect size. The only question that went through my mind is will it be in competition for moisture from the big tree behind it? Just curious what your input is on my question. Thanks for the great videos, I look forward to them all, you are so good at what you do!

Lilac is my favorite plant of all time. I love when the bush/tree gets big and you can bring in bunches and bunches of flowers in full bloom to make the whole room/house smell great and look beautiful. That plant is exceptional. Plus, it's good to see you constantly improving. Encouraging for someone with a new place.

You've inspired me! I went out and bought this plant. I'm also zone five (greater Salt Lake City area, so hopefully it will do just fine. I think it will be the perfect plant to help nudge me out of my gardening comfort zone. Can't wait to see what else you do. My yard is loving your ideas! Thank you!

I found a great app called Gardenize I thought I would share! The app allows you to create areas of your yard and then add plants. You can include a picture and all the information on the plant and can even add notes. I love it and its super easy to use. So much easier than saving all those tags!

I enjoy these short videos. You have big time inspired me to work in my yard. I may try to send you a pic one day of what I have to deal with when working in my yard. Then you'll really understand how difficult it is to get me to go out and work in my yard. Let's just say it's rough digging.

So pretty! Lilacs are my favorite, and I was so excited about this one until I heard it doesn't like to be wet. Our yard is clay, and it stays damp most of the year. It's been really difficult to find anything that is going to thrive here, unfortunately.
