Low-Light Succulent Arrangement (Full Version) Garden Answer Venice: Question. Hsve a succulent that needs help. I need to put it in the right soil for Cactus, but t i feel as though when i take it out of its container it will due off. what do i do for the root ball. Do i shake off all the plain planting soil its been in for over a year or what. It has special meaning to me n i dont want to kill it. It belongs to my daughter and im trying nit to kill it. Its a Jade plant like the one in this video. I repotted it and it grew up and out, beautifully but i noticed green splotches in the soil n container down deep looks almost like mold. If I wasnt scared to propagate i could probably get several plants. But its very special n i don't want to kill it. Any solid suggestions and or advice?

Great video, so much helpful information! I know that plant containers need drainage holes and you reference that all the time; -) For my regular pots, I always use the tray for that size pot. You have shared several videos using fun, designer pots such as this faux wood container. You showed us it has a drainage hole however, as I have wondered with some of the other containers you have graciously shared with us, how are you protecting your table tops when these containers do not have a tray to catch any run off? Thank you!

Finally I understand a little about succulents. I really like that they don't need a lot of maintenance. And I like your tips about feeding and watering them. Good job, as usual, Laura! Very cute arrangement. I want to come and visit your nursery this Fall. I'm fairly new at gardening and love your videos. I learn so much and you make it look so fun! I only live about 42 miles away. It will be a nice day trip! Maybe I can drag my girl friend to come with. ( It would be really fun if we could meet you)

I love your videos! I would love to see a series re watering a succulent arrangement over a period of time. That is, show each time you check an arrangement for water, how you evaluate whether to water, whether you water or wait at that point, how you water it. I bought one of the syringes you recommended and have started building arrangements but I need more info about watering successfully. Thank you.

Hey Laura I have a question: I have a bunch of sun loving succulents outside and the light there is perfect for them but it gets cold where I live. If I bring them inside they don't have enough light. I am looking into grow lights but I don't know which ones would be best for them. What would you recommend?

Wonderful arrangement! The fall details remind me that, of course fall is near and that here in Canada, we're only a few weeks away from Thanksgiving. I do want to say thanks for the tip about watering, using a syringe. I've been doing this with my succulents and it works great. Blessings to you and Aaron!

I wonder if you have any tips for indoor plant shelves. I have a few plants that need to come indoors and I need to build a shelf to hold those I can winter over. I am trying to think how I can build a corner shelf in my office which has wonderful windows in a corner. Thanks

I've been searching for inspiration for a fall-themed succulent display lately, with little success. Just wanted you to know THIS video made me jump up and grab my semi-neglected indoor succulents (thanks, summer) for a cute table display. THANK you! Yours is beautiful.

Your like me wearing the wedding ring and playing in the dirt: ) Love your video's Hardest thing is when to water what, with my job that takes me away from my lovely plants. At times a little over my head, but it soooo worth it!

I just want to say, I love you! You have such good ideas and you live in a cold climate. so you know. Can't wait till next Spring so I can do a planter and use annuals to add color. I just started on my succulent journey.
