Thank you so much for this video! I have a flower bed that has been neglected for several years and want to completely revamp it. These tips will help so much in undertaking this project! And I will definitely have to check into incorporating the clematis. I love their blooms and have never been successful in having the vine type. Hopefully I will have better luck with the bush type! Thanks again for sharing: )

Hello,
I am not much for planting. But my husband got me some seeds and beautiful planters. But when i was at work he Tryed to help and put all my seeds in the pots together. There are 4 different flowers and he stuck a few of each seed in each planter together. Can this be done? Out of 8 planters only one is poking through. And i have no idea what flower it is. It been a month now. Help

Love this video, I have an area in my front yard that has some bushes in it (not sure what they are, builder planted them) and then I planted some tulips, daffodills and tiger lily's. My tiger lillies are beautiful when they bloom, but I planted them toward the back drop, wondering if I should move them and have them toward the middle and plant some of these other things in place

I know you say not to stress about what kind of mulch, but here we cannot find anything as fine or deep brown as what you have. So what kind is it? I stick to wood chips in front of my house. it looks good and the plants seem to like it ok. But I am adding a flower garden out back and would love to know. what kind!

Love it with the mulch color! Because I'm lazy I use compost as the mulch though. I don't have to pull it back to plant. And just add on top as it sinks. I don't get the amazing color choices but that's ok. I'm just a one and done kind of person because I'm old. Your's looks beautiful Laura!

Such beautiful work! Yet, i'd really love to see an episode on how to reclaim rough ground, & begin a planting bed!
What are all the alternative ways, such as tilling, etcetera. It sure does look easier with existing beds! Show us how you made them from scratch, please!

When you plant flowers, do you need to replant new ones next season, or is it a one life time job, in the sense that when flowers die in winter their seeds fall down and give rebirth in following season and thus it is like you are having a perennial plants?

Your videos have been so cool and helpful. I really like how you get down to business and give the scoop. I just pruned my 3 climatice yesterday. Your information was so helpful. I really liked how you put together that garden area. So attractive

I am an ultra novice gardener (my brother makes fun of me bcz I can kill an indoor spider plant. Is it necessary to have a drip watering system in a flower garden? If it is preferred, can one be attached to a sprinkler irrigation system?
