New Arbors + Climbing Roses Garden Answer Patricia: Am I the first one to comment this year on your two or three arbor question? I read most of the comments from last year and it seems to be evenly split! Ill be interested to see what you decided to do. I read one comment that suggested putting the third and placing it equidistant through the fence. I agree. And as far as three arbors go I think sometimes more is more. As in mo betta! I have really been enjoying your gardening videos for the last month. Im playing catch-up. I think my first viewing had you asking our opinions on paint or stain on your gazebo. I suggested smoky lavender. Well I plan to enjoy my little garden and live just a little vicariously through you! My arbor tunnel will be from cattle panels and Im going to grow sweet peas on the entry and hops after. Sounds intoxicating! O and someone else had suggested not a third arbor but a moon gate. I liked that even better! I wouldnt have thought of it but it seemed to have the perfect balance. Running the idea around about why put a gate where its unnecessary though. I think as Im talking so. I like your videos because I can enjoy watching your choices and can see something that sparks a modified version that would suit my garden!

Is Collete the name of the rose or the type? I also have a black arbor and would love to get this rose if it will grow in Colorado. Thank you! Everything looks so beautiful there. And then sometime I wish you'd do a video on what to do in winter to protect these roses on an arbor. I've looked on the internet and haven't found that addressed for really cold winter climates. Thanks!

I was wondering. you have what I think is Alberta Spruce and or arborvitae in your pots. how do you over winter them? are they left out through the winters? I am looking to plant something in large containers on either side of my garage which gets full sun! thanks so much for your feedback: )

I need to know the names of the following trees so please help me:
3: 09 the two beautiful plants lined up on the outside of the fence with white flowers around their low end.
8: 02 the big tree on the right back beneath which the truck and the blue sedan are parked.

(HUG) Love the arbor and black fence the black stain is so beautiful, the way you arranged everything is perfect, another arbor by the driveway would look so awesome. How long does it take to grow climbing roses from seed? You make everything look so beautiful.

I am obsessed with your garden and landscaping. Soo neat and well organized. That willow tree is out of a fairly tale. I believe that your ambers add a nice whimsical touch to your garden. You have yourself a new subbie! Im excited to catch up on what Ive missed.

Very nice. We gardeners have to have a vision of what things will look like. I think yours will be super. The one advice I always give new gardeners is to leave plenty of room for plants and shrubs to grow. Otherwise, all your plans go right out the window.
