How to Dry Hydrangea Blooms Garden Answer Lorie: This was the first year my Hydrangea's really bloomed profusely and I wanted to take a few, cut them and dry them. Assuming they were like many flowers I had dried in the past, I tied them together and hung them upside down. DO NOT DO THIS! BAD IDEA! While they are still all together, they turned. Brown. No beautiful Nikko Blue color at all. I learned a lot from this Video. THANK YOU! I think I may try that Gold Spray paint technique and maybe somehow salvage them and use them in a DIY Project. We learn from our Mistakes and watching Videos from people who show us how its done! : )

Hi Laura, Aaron & Benjamin! I felt sure that you would show us how to do this. It's much easier than I had thought it would be! When I think of ALL the beautiful blooms that I COULD have dried it makes me sad; but, NOW I know. Thank you! By the way, I just ordered more merch. I added a mug, v-neck tee and a tank. (Tell TeeSpring that you need to expand the sizes on the tanks! Some of us lady fans aren't little, tee-tiny, wispy things. Lol! We 2x ladies love tanks, too! Thanks)

Do you ever look at something so beautiful that you almost cant stand it? Thats how I feel whenever I see hydrangeas! OMG THEYRE SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for showing us another way to continue enjoying them. (They really need a hydrangea emoji)

Do they have a lot of bugs in them like peonies which are full of ants and little tiny bugs. Love peonies but hate trying to get rid of the critters before bringing them into the house to put in a vase. Nonetheless. love the limelight hydrangeas: )

Thank you for this video! I wanted to do this last year but I was a little late in getting it together. This was both a reminder and instruction from my most trusted source! Will be heading outside right now to get a few blooms. :)

Good morning! This is so timely since I was just heading outside to cut some blooms to use for a wreath! Now I'll just need to be patient while they dry. Thanks for this easy-to-do instructional video! :-)

I wish I had known how to do this before my Oak Leaf hydrangea blooms were spent. This year it was loaded with blooms! Thank you for the information Laura. I'll have to remember to do this next year.
