DIY Houseplant Hanger! Garden Answer Holly: This video is perfectly timed because I have been wanting to make one or two of these for my hanging plants. I love how you used the decorative trim around it, it gives it a little bit of a lip and I really like that feature. I might paint mine, but staining one would be just a beautiful. I love that you used curtain tiebacks for the hanging part, that is genius. Thanks so much Laura for this perfectly timed video, now I just need to gather all of my supplies and go for it. I hope you have a wonderful day, see you soon, bye for now.

I would love to see you do a care video on hoyas! I know there are a lot of others out there but I would love to hear your perspective, how you care for them. Would be a great video for winter, too! A few of my hoyas get super dry in winter and the leaves get real thin. I almost feel like I have to water them more. The one in your video is gorgeous: )

Fyi: Any time you cut rope, cording, etc. you can seal the ends with a lighter. Just move a lighter below the cut ends so that heat from the lighter melts the polyester; not close enough to burn or singe it. Prevents fraying and gives a more polished finish. Will also stop a multi-strand role from unraveling.

My comment doesnt have to do with this video but I was just cleaning up a houseplant that was, well the best way to describe it, a funeral planter that I received 15 months ago. What is the best way to either keep them going or separate them into new containers? Love all your videos!

This is perfect! Thanks so much for showing us how. I moved to a place where the windows will have to be blocked at the bottom for privacy and open to clear light only in the upper 20 inches, so this is a great way to give my plans sunlight and maintain my privacy too. Brilliant!

Just out of curiosity, how long does it take you to make and post a 7 minute video? All the prep a you put into some of them would take me hours then add on all the filming and editing! I'm excited to see you at the Cleveland Home and Garden show next month!

We will finish the walkway this spring with the two pallets of pavers I bought last year after your walkway video.

I love this! I just bought some miniature roses that I need a plant hanger big enough for it. Turns out the one I already had is made for small pots and now Im scared theyre not gonna get enough light until I find a way to hang it up.

If you hadnt been so quick to cut those zip ties off, you could have gotten a second use for them. Just cut them right behind the head and you will salvage a medium sized zip, the only waste is the short tail. Get it?

Amanda has so many hanging shelf planters in her videos and I have been wanting to make one! I love that they appear to be very convenient to take the plant on and off of and you can put any pot(s) on it
