Mail Time! Garden Answer seriously? : Can you do a video of how you've been able to grow what looks like a Burro's Tail succulent on your plant shelf behind your left? ( our right side screen) I'm trying to start one but they are so fragile! A slight bump against the tail of one elongating stem and the leaflets fall off and then I'm left with gaps on the stem like a damaged necklace string missing some beads. Not as bad ( fragile)as the variety of Burro's tail that looks like strings of Jordan Almonds where the beadlets fall off from the weight of just growing too long. I have one of those too, and after 20yrs of cultivation, no stem has been able to grow longer than 6 inches ( the length over the rim and down to the bottom of the pot) before breaking or suffering some sort of defoliating mishap. I deliberately keep it trimmed compact now just to keep it from suffering this fate anymore and looking scraggly. They are visually stunning plants. Are my plants nutrient deficient and therefore weaker than usual so the leaflets fall off when touched? Or is it just their nature that as the stems grow longer and longer, it drops off leaflets as a means for propagation? It sort of makes sense since each leaflet when left on top of the soil will eventually sprout roots and a whole new baby plant. as far as seeking local gardening advice. Our Gaiser Conservatory (Spokane, WA) has a arid cacti and succulent garden in their greenhouse that has a hanging pot with long trails of Burro's Tails over 2 feet long growing in it. Their gardeners say it's a long lived specimen that they have had forever so they don't have any recent memory on how it was cultivated to that stage and appearance. Their activities are more focused on maintenance rather than cultivation. don't repot it and water and fertilize sparingly. Any advice from you will help.

We just watched this video and panic set in. We were going to order our 1st David Austin rose this spring; however, when we saw that someone was sending you three David Austin roses and that was the EXACT rose we had selected, we though YIKES! there's going to be a run on the Roald Dahl rose. Fortunately, we were able to get our order in minutes ago before we got the Sorry--out of stock message. You keep us motivated and energized. :)

We have to add a retaining wall to a full side of our house, so we'll be using that as an excuse to make a 40' long raised bed that I'll probably use to grow some veggies and have a compost pile. One of the things I want to grow a luffa plant to have my own loofah sponges. Could you please make a video on caring for those plants and how to get started?

Just a suggestion for making a decorative magnet for the refrigerator using a tree ornament just cut off the hanger and glue a magnet on the back. They are so much beautiful than plain magnets. Since we dont put up a tree, the gifts of ornaments are turn refrigerator note holders.

Is it just me or does Erin and Aaron sound the same with and American accent? I remember this always confusing me watching American movies when theyre referring to a guy and I think theyre saying Erin
