Oh Russell is so crazy, and that's a kitty for you, they can be little stinkers and that's just the way they roll, lol! And your carrot cake is so pretty, when you make homemade sometimes they turn out not so perfect, but that's the neat thing about real life and to me it looked just fine and so yummy, and I am so jealous that your weather is so amazing, all I see when I look around is giant mountains of snow in my yard from shoveling the walks. I am so ready for warmer weather it is cold and yucky in Idaho. Thanks for sharing Laura, great video and so good to see your mom she is so cute with Benjamin, say hi to Aaron and your dad as well, have fun see you soon, bye for now.

You carrot cake looks wonderful. It so enjoyable to watch you and know that I am not the only one that makes some cakes, etc that I have to fix up to look presentable. Much like the time I made a couple dozen mini cupcakes and my homemade icing ran over the side of the cupcakes. Not the best but with sprinkles on top, it helped.

I'm watching this video kind of late, but just wanted to say that I love videos with your Mom. She just seems like the warmest, friendliest person. My Mom and I love to garden, bake, and cook as well so it just warms my heart to see you and your Mom together. Love this.

Thank for doing a carrot cake. Brought back alot of memories with my mama and mom. This is my mama's recipe. She use to add walnuts to the cream cheese frosting. What a wonderful cake. Its beautiful.

I never realized that Russel was a Hemingway cat (Polydactyl cat. They're considered lucky. He was cracking me up. Also your cake is perfectly imperfect. Such is life.
