Why Was the Beginning of the Video Black? Do You Decide a Budget When Designing Containers? Linda: I would love to see you cover Harrison the Hare in Tri-color Bolivian Jew (Callisia Repens Variegated) Variegated Turtle Vine. I saw a large butterfly form in my local Garden Center with moss and this creeping Jew covering the butterfly form. It was so beautiful! I've finally been able to collect everything I need to do the project. I would absolutely love to see you do this because it would teach me how to do it properly. Please, please, please consider it. Or could you explain to me how to do it on one of your question and answer videos? It would be such an inspiration to me and I think many other people would attempt it as well. on several different types of forms. Thank you for looking at our suggestions and answering our questions, Laura. I love all of your videos & get inspiration from each and every one of them. Take care!

Hi Laura, is there any possibility you can do a video on how to separate clumping plants, eg, Heuchera, the type that branch and set roots on stems. I have tried to do it, and the plant let always dies and I dont know what it is Im doing wrong. I live in the uk and were supposed to be a zone 12-14, night temps rarely dip below -4 c, and summer days rarely reach 30c ( daytime temps at present are around 7c ) I have a beautiful lime green heuchera that has lots of clumping plants on it and Id like to thin it out and put the offcuts elsewhere in my garden. Thankyou for all you Aaron Benjamin and your parents do. Youre wonderful

Laura your videos are very inspiring, I've learned so much from you. I also buy Proven Winners and now only use espoma. I had to order 2 low mound aronias last fall from Proven Winners after watching your video about them because my local garden center didn't have them. The day after planting the bunnies feasted on them and left very little. I'm hoping they come back this spring and I will sprinkle Repels All around them. Never thought of using Thompson's water seal or Flex seal clear to glaze saucers as some suggested below, great idea. Aaron does a great job, I give my husband looks like that also. LOL

Laura, Im here to tell you, you have met your goal with me. I have tried so many new things in just the past 4 months that I have started watching you and Aaron. That really says a lot since I live in Iowa and its the dead of winter. I planted amaryllis In December, a first for me. I planted flower bulbs in January, also a first for me. In February I purchased seeds, a grow light and soil so I can have flowers to plant out in May. Im 58 years old and I gotta say, you are my garden HERO! Keep doing what you do and you will only add more dedicated followers to your legion of fans.

Hi, I'm guessing you haven't seen my previous comments on videos or maybe you haven't tried it yet, but in regards to 13: 45 - Q from Donna Hulstein about where to get the terracotta saucers (that don't leak) - I have figured out a way to take the saucers and make them waterproof very effectively, and inexpensively, all you need to do is paint a layer of PVA glue onto the terracotta saucer (inside and underneath) and let it dry, sometimes you can do a few coats just to be sure but after this they are water tight and no longer leak water.
Hope that helps!

You sure do inspire me. I can't wait to see last years plants start coming up and the bulbs my husband planted for me. I have more plans to add to the flower beds this year which you have inspired me to do. My husband has to do all the work as I am no longer ale to get down to work in the ground. But I do get to pot plants after he puts in the soil for me. So that is when I can get my hands dirty. I love color, so flowers and plants are the way to go. Thank you so much for your videos and inspiration.

I have had success with a couple coats of clay pot sealant on terra-cotta pots and saucers. I used it mainly to protect paint designs on the outside of the pot. So far my paint designs havent been ruined after almost two years and watering my plants in the shower to fully soak the soil and getting the leaves clean. No sign of water damage where the pot and saucers are placed for long periods of time.

Since I too love terracotta pots for my indoor plants I usually spray paint a clear acrylic sealer on the inner reservoir of the saucers. With the porous nature of terracotta I usually give it a handful of coats within the space of an hour until the finish is visible once dry. Works like a charm and it is budget friendly. Thanks for all your tips over the years!

Hey Laura! Long time viewer here who is also hard of hearing. I have to use subtitles to catch all the words due to Maximum Conductive Hearing Loss in one ear. And YT auto-generated subtitles are dreadful. Is there anything I could do to help with the subtitles to improve them a bit for the rest of the even-harder-of-hearing viewers?

Are PW seeds and plants organic, I only buy those to help save my pollinators and myself. I'm in zone 7, Maryland's eastern shore, about an hr from the ocean, your temps are spot on for zone 7, they are calling for 19, I believe Fri. night, pulling out my Christmas branches to cover the bulbs that are about to bloom!
