A Flower Bed Makeover for Mothers Day! Garden Answer DixieGirl9876: A beautiful gift from you both! My daughter's thought on the same line this year, they did a coupon book of services I can redeem, which included hand washing our vehicles and waxing them, gardening work and many more. I helped with a mother's day gift by teaching someone to take cutting and rooting six rose bushes for her MIL's new garden. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day, Laura! That is the best gift a mother could ever want! It turned out so beautifully and I'm sure Sue feels the love that went into every plant selection. Every year my daughters know that I choose to go for a walk/hike followed by doing some gardening together. It is my idea of a perfect day!

Just watched this video! You are so sweet! You are so right about time spent and / or a little service! I am older and it means so much for our Grandchildren and Children to come and visit! We love their company! Hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day! Thank you so much for your time and videos I love them!

Happy Mothers Day to you, Laura. Im enjoying a terrific Mothers Day as my daughter bought a Blue Pyramid Cypress for our yard and my husband is taking me to Whitney Gardens in Brinnon WA to enjoy all the rhododendrons that are in bloom. Who wants to bet that I come home with something new to plant?

I read a book years and years ago. called the Five Love Languages. I believe there is one for adults and one for kids. There are five love languages: Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. for myself, acts of service is definitely 'mine'.

Beautiful flower bed. I bet Aaron's Mom was delighted.
On a total different planting question when is it a good time to plant Amaryllis out in the garden? Do they need full sun/part sun? Then when do we bring them in for winter planting?

Hi Laura! you are a wonderful and enthusiast gardener. Your videos are full of information, tips and tricks. Love watching them. I have a question, what is the irrigation system that you have used? do you already have a video on that?

I have just found you and everything I've seen so far is awesome. I was wondering what kind of water system you use? Is that just copper piping in the above video? I have nine acres and get so tired of watering twice a day. Thanks

Love all of your videos! I look forward to your daily inspiration especially during this difficult time. Thank you! QUESTION I didnt see a link for those shears you used to trim up the boxwoods. Would love to know. Thx!

Maybe asked already, but: I noticed you cut down the tulip foliage before it had gone really yellow or brown. Hoping you can explain that in your recap video as far as if they can still come back. Thanks!
