I could just watch your videos for hours. I cant thank you and Aaron enough for the great content that you put out there. If I have any lack of motivation or inspiration, I can watch one of your videos and suddenly feel like I can tackle anything. It really does help me to get out the door and accomplish something in the garden - even if its a small task. .also just a thought, what a great niche for you guys to be in because your videos can easily be rewatched multiple times. ie, Im always rewatching looking for a refresher on something, looking for the name of a plant, a container design, etc.

Just had to share, while shopping today I met another gardener and as we talked I asked if she had ever seen Garden Answer, she was surprised to find a fellow GA follower. Small world. BTW, working in odd numbers is something we find more interesting in decorating. Beautiful window box. Oh and if you want to test out black for the boxes, how about putting black craft paper on the boxes and see how you like it. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hi Laura and Aaron! That window box tuned out really pretty. I like the combination of plants and colors that you chose and I'm glad you added the begonias. I'm. also, glad you stayed with the white for the window boxes because they blend in nicely with the house and let the plants stand out. Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to see what you do with the other window boxes.

Laura. I think this is possibly one of the prettiest containers you've ever planted! All the texture and color compliments with the begonias tucked in. just lovely. You can never go wrong with any type of heuchara. I just love them! I agree with you on the window boxes. I don't think I could paint them either. Your plants show up so well with the white.

Ohh now i wish i had more shady Spots! I need to plant up quite a few of trees! My garden has no structure. My house was a Weekend and vacation house when we were kids and later for Tourists. No work done in the garden structure wise so i'm a little At loss where to start. That's why i'm really looking forward to your garden work in your new garden: )

I just CAN NOT keep ferns alive! I wish I could figure out what Im doing wrong! I actually for the first time ever felt a lot of anxiety watching as you nonchalantly put ferns into a window box and knowing theyll most likely be just gorgeous and grow perfectly for you. All the while mine die a slow and upsetting. in your face death.

Yes to the idea of replanting the second window box using what's already there! That would be very handy for those of us on a small garden budget. I'm sure you'd have good ideas for how to spruce up plants that maybe aren't looking as perfect as they look when you buy them from the garden centre!

OK this might sound a little crazy, but have you thought of taking black construction paper and tapping to the window box so you could stand back and see how the plants looks if it were painted black? Just an idea that would hopefully give you an idea if you like it in black.

I am lazy person, is there any way I can get a window box with low maintenance plants that can stay in the box for 5 yrs in TX. Spot only gets morning sun. Also my house is brick, wonder if its gonna be hard to get a window box and put in an irrigation system?
