Planting Up & Delivering Containers to Our Neighbors! Garden Answer frodosdojo: What a wonderful project! I was feeling good right along with you! Maybe someone mentioned this already, but I see Proven Winners at Lowes and Home Depot where I live in just outside Atlanta. I learn so much watching your videos, when I go through the garden department I find I recognize and know the names of the plants I've seen in your videos. I also just figured out I have 2 self watering planters (I picked them up for free couple of years ago from someone selling their house. Fast forward to figuring out how to add water and now, surprise! A purple petunia popped up! I'm guessing because whatever roots were hiding in the planter got some water. I also installed a soaking hose and timer around my flower beds. Before that, I had planted elephant ear bulbs and was wondering if they were duds. Maybe a few days after I put in the soaker hose, voila! They elephant ears sprung up! and they are so pretty and healthy looking.

You are truly the best neighbor to have, I would love to be one of your neighbors. I love all of the pots and the flowers you picked and how they looked all planted up and would love to see how they look as the season progresses. I especially love the eggplant colored pots, since purple is my favorite color. Thank you so much for sharing this was a fun and different video and it was fun to see other people's yards and the different perspective of things. Take care and I look forward to your next video, sending love and hugs, bye for now.

Laura I love watching you at other peoples home. It helps motivate me who has zero planting experience but Im building a house and Im hoping to plant some flower beds. Its a lot of land to fill. But your home is already established so when I look at your garden its a little intimidating. (I dont know where to start) But when you do little projects at other peoples home it gives me inspiration. I love your garden though it is gorgeous.

I love to see you both helping and blessing your neighbors! And thank you for using the elephant ears-our ranch store has a bunch and I was interested but hesitant to use one because they require so much water(we live in arid Wyoming. Can you bring elephant ears in the house for the winter? Do they make a good houseplant?

I have a question about the lantana. I love lantana and I have a beautiful one planted in my landscape and it gets huge! I trim it back every once in a while. Im curious about how its going to do in a pot, and how do you keep it from over taking the pot?

What a difference 3 weeks make. ;) Laura, during the container competition, you turned your nose up to Supertunia violet Star in Aaron's Container competition. Now, here you are using it in a container. I'm just busting you girl. Love the containers.

It looks like around Laura home is used to be 1 property, because most doesn't have mature trees (aside from Laura's home. Wondering how long it would take to have 1 mature trees there (I live in tropics, so we have different type of trees)

I absolutely love those eggplant containers. Where are they from? I had the hardest time finding containers that I loved this year and ended up just getting some inexpensive plastic ones for place holders until I found the perfect ones.
