I love seeing Benjamin, my little guy is totally into bubbles and jumping and climbing on everything. It is hard to get your job done but its fun having them out there with you. I had my almost 3 yo shovel mulch into my bucket while i trimmed my box woods today and he loved it! Then we went and spread the mulch into a bed flower bed. It was like two jobs in one. Maybe not as efficient but hes learning and playing. I cant wait to see how Benjamin starts to help and learn too.

I love how these window boxes turned out! The impatiens with the greenery provides a beautiful contrast! Thank you for your wonderful inspiring videos- they get me through my treadmill routine! I have been trying to find the video where you said something about fertilizing your annuals weekly, but that you don't fertilize perennials weekly as well?

Do I ever get to that point - absolutely! In fact, this year I did not plant the veggie garden because last year the critters ate almost everything and this year they started eating the lilies and hosta flowers. I bought Repel All and it seems to help but it is late to start the veggie. Luckily I have a farm stand 1/2 mile away.

I have just added the drip irrigation to my containers. How cold does it get in your winters? Do you have to do something to the main lines so they survive the cold? We live in Indianapolis, Indiana. My husband thinks we might need to blow air though them so they dont have water that will crack and freeze. Suggestions?

How do the Impatiens, still in their plastic cells, get water? They wouldn't get get it from the sides or bottom, and they appear to be tipped forward which would seem to prevent water from dripping from the top. I'm genuinely curious because there are spots where this would work for me, if it actually works.

Love watching your plans and gardening adventures. I will try adding window boxes next year. I have a question on a mid size container I played with chocolate drop coleus, strep. spikes and another coleus. I love the look of it but the chocolate drop coleus is overtaking the container. how do I fix this.

Hi Laura, Aaron and Benjamin! I love the way all of your window boxes look. I don't have any suitable places to hang any. ;-( Thank you so much for sharing! Also, I love it when Aaron and Benjamin are in the videos, too, and watching the interaction between the three of you! Russell is such a stinker!

Loved this video. You are so inspiring to get out in the garden and get things done! Especially for us full-time working moms with little ones, working from home and needing an escape once in a while without leaving the home.
I've managed to keep my kids napping at 5 and 3 yrs old! Haha!
