Aaron your doing such a good helper job on the tree and also helping Laura in all you do together. Yes, it looks so much better without the little tree, so you can put another tree that will complement your beautiful garden. I like it you and Aaron express you thoughts out together with smiles. Even if you were to put a Beautiful Lady in your garden as it could even be a small fountain. Your such a happy couple with smiles and giggles, makes your video's enjoyable.

I have a huge hole in my front yard on the southwest side don't know what to put there. Had a 150 foot ginko tree removed. On the southeast side of the yard is a smaller hole where l'd like to plant a Japanese maple or a smaller birch tree as l grew up in a birch grove in Canada. I have a split rail fence where l'd like to plant those aribrove trees. an ongoing process. went to home depot which is the only place around to look at trees

Love the prune job, I agree with Aaron, definitely an improvement. A red maple would add some lovely color and shape though so you both get what you want out of the project, its a win win. It always feels so good to get those garden maintenance tasks taken care of, we just had our gutters cleaned too, probably 6 months later than we should have. :)

Points for Arron today and the two kitty supervisors did well! I like the look of the large tree trunk. I would plant mostly low growing things and leave the trunk visible to hilite the tree. I would like the breathing space for myself. However I love all that you both do. Your mom is a show off on take 11 mile bike ride! You go mom girl.

To Aaron: Can I just say you have such a great attitude? I love your cameos. Laura says I say its a small project, because Aaron will be doing the bulk of the work. And you say its gonna be great, Im excited. So chill and down to try. Youre awesome.
If you had a merch shirt, Id buy it. Its gonna be great - Aaron.

My neighbor planted a birch tree right in the drain area between our houses. The tree is pretty but takes over. So over the years it has blocked outflow of rain water and produces so much debris. in summer if too dry the tree drop all its leaves. Lots to clean up. Also sucks up a lot of light

No tilling! It leaves you with dirt that causes dust bowl effect. You want the healthier soil! Best documentary on this called Kiss The Ground on Netflix. It addresses that issue and helps us see this problem from a whole new light.
Then less cleaning on your decks!

Looks great! After almost 20 years I finally dug out the Stella day lilies along my brick sidewalk from the previous owner. I replaced with Nepeta Cats Pajamas and a PW sedum Pure Joy. It looks so much tidier.
