Lemon Cypress Indoor Care Guide! Garden Answer Zan: Hi Laura! I have a couple of Golden Cypress planted outside against a North facing wall (I'm in the Southern Hemisphere. I've noticed that the one is starting to brown at the top (although they get the same amount of water. If I prune the plant to remove the dead foliage, will it regrow / recover? Someone mentioned to me that it might be rust? Also just wanted to say that I love watching your videos for inspiration and tips. Warm greetings from South Africa.

Thank you so much Laura, great timing and great information as I just purchased 3 of those little beauties! Yours look absolutely beautiful. I'm now hoping to keep mine alive. Do you think they will be okay through the winter (zone 9? What would you suggest if I keep them outside? Thank you so much. I hope you're doing good, you look beautiful as always. Take care sweetie.

I need help: ( I have this plant for 3 yrs and it's growing. From 10 cm it is now 51 cm and I'm afraid that soon I would need to take it outside: ( I love it so much, but i have 0 knowledge about pruning or shaping. Is it possible to prune it in a way for it to stay small forever? I am so afraid to hurt it and I don't want my lovely plant to die: (

I live in the Los Angeles area where it's zone 10. I really want to get myself a lemon cypress. I'm most likely to keep it potted outdoor. My only concern is our summer is very hot. Temperatures range from the 90s to 100s. Climate change is making our summers hotter. Would a lemon cypress survive in a very hot and dry outdoor environment?

I have an unheated sunroom similar to yours, and am also in zone 6. I've never kept plants in there because I worry about them freezing. Can you recommend some plants that might be happy in my sunroom year round? Do you already have a video like this? Thanks!

Love your videos even if the topic is not of an interest to me. Thanks you for your time and effort. If you start to get to tired doin them your husband should take over and do some on garden equipment and creating that composting site.

I live in a very dry climate as well so I wondered about the humidity. Would a humid bathroom help a lemon cypress be happier? Or does the humidity matter less than the actual water you give it? Thanks! You're the best!

Three sisters didnt work well for me. The beans made the corn toppel over, then it was hard to get to the squash too. I may have gone about it the wrong way too. Aw well, we had lots to eat, and the corn was wonderful.
