Cutting Back Salvia, Deadheading Roses, Baiting for Earwigs, and Virginia Creeper Removal! m04f04m: I like your style. If something is not thriving or isn't what you want, pull it and start over. We've been in Central Texas (zone 8b/8a - seems like 7 in recent years) for three years, and we've had to learn about different plants that work here.
The Color Spires Indiglo Girl Salvia look intriguing. We don't see those here in the local garden shops. A similar one in terms of color we have is Mystic Spires Blue Salvia, which is supposed to be hardy to Zone 7, but has been struggling to recover from the cold winters the past couple of years. They might be a perennial, but that didn't stop us from pulling them and replacing with fresh plants this Spring.

Loved this video. I am sitting in Australia where it is winter and cold. It must be hard to keep a garden going and doing videos during the heat so thank you. Water play is so much fun. My grandma would let us dig mud trenches and run water through them and attack the ant nests with hoses. I let my kids paint the house with water or aim at each other with spray bottles on each side of a window. Very satisfying.

I do really love, love your videos. You are my first choice of reference, but there is something that have always bugged me and that is your hair over your face! I don't know how you do it! It makes me feel hot! suffocating, uncomfortable, irritating! You have a beautiful head of hair and believe me I try not to focus on it but it is very distracting! I adore you though, so I guess I'll keep watching.

I like the voice-over narration! Good way to bang out several jobs AND make a video without it taking as much time
Benjamin is looking like a big boy now - its amazing how quickly they change and how fast they grow. He is such a sweet & handsome little guy. Its so sweet how they want to help at this age. If only they wanted to scrub sidewalks at 16!

I love when you talk about Virginia Creeper because it's basically poison ivy. Super invasive and causes a skin rash similar to poison ivy for some people, just like poison ivy causes a rash for some people and not others, so because you don't get a rash from touching it, doesn't mean that it is a great plant to put everywhere.

Really liked this video. I have what Ive been told are hemlocks. They create a wall on one side of my back porch and kinda overgrown right now. They have white powdery stuff on them. I was wondering when and what to treat them with? Also, should I wait to cut back in shape in early spring? Really appreciate any help. Thanks

I don't know if I missed this type of video before but I enjoyed this voice over. You sounded relaxed and I felt better knowing you were out of the heat! Always enjoy seeing Benjamin. I liked hearing about pruning Salvia & Nepeta since I bought both this Spring! As always thanks!

I could watch you garden all day long Laura! So much inspiration to get me out and beautify my yard. Can you guys, pretty please, do a day in the life type vlog? I would love to see more of your family time. I understand that isnt your focus, but Love Love all your videos!

Great video, but please, please consider relocating the grill; the current location is a fire hazard. Not only is it too close to your house, generally but especially because it it right next to your dryer vent and lint is extremely flammable.
