Planting the Most Beautiful Clematis & Salvia! Garden Answer Queen: I've noticed recently in your videos there's a whole bunch of clicking sounds when you touch your leg. I'm wondering if maybe you're wearing your microphone pack on your hip and then as you're talking and gesturing and you your hand drops down you hit the microphone pack? Just wanted to bring it up in case you wanted to wear the pack somewhere else. You can hear a bunch of it at this timestamp 8: 30 in this video and in most other recent videos

If you have a clematis and dont know the variety, how can you determine how to prune it? Do you just watch and see if anything grows from the dead looking vine? Due to your inspiration my hubs and I put 12 cats pajamas nepeta and 12 pink profusion salvia along our dry creek bed in our flowerbed! We put them right behind the French Blend tulips in a graceful swoop! I cant wait to see the color!

Its a bit left field i know but i was thinking about the gap between the two urns, you said you want winter interest so have you considered something like an old horse drawn plaugh or old tractor/ wagon, sometimes these can look very decorative, and with your skills i know you could make it work, love your videos, from a fan from southern England.

your other clematis, roguchi? mine is getting massive 8) love them little ballerina skirts I cut it back July 4th to 12 and it regrows through the fall and blooms again. Maybe a caryopteris / sunshine blue from PW in the west bed for a little yellow and blue pop of color, I love the blue/deep purple blooms in late summer and fall for arrangements

The colors on the West side. oh, my! And, that clematis couldn't be more gorgeous! I never really liked clematis much, but they're coming out with some that are so beautiful, I added two last year that had beautiful blooms this year. I think I may now be hooked!
Thank you for continuing to inspire us!

Hi Laura, loving it as always. In which way do you put in the trellis arch, as you have heavy winds like we have, Im interested to know what you use to make sure the archway doesnt fall over in the wind, as thats a regular problem with us in the South Wales uk area. Thanks for all you do x

What does it look like in the winter? Do you keep the clematis there or do you prune it back I just want to plant one but I dont want it to look a hot mess when its not green and blooming? Same with the roses, do you trim it all back and take it all down when it dries up in the fall?

I just planted the president clematis and a pink one! I love them! President is a deep purple! You got yourself a super clematis dang and no I have not seen one that huge in its own container. The flowers even find you! Salvia is a good one, I just have 3 of them in both colors!

Am I the only one who watches with a notebook or my phone in hand to take notes of what plants or flowers that Laura is using? That clematis is stunning! Could it be trained to climb an obelisk? I found a beautiful white metal curvy obelisk that I NEED to put in my garden!
