How We Organize Our Drip Irrigation Parts & How We Run Drip to Containers! Garden Answer Nicole: hey laura! (and family) our 2 year old girly loves watching waura and smelling your flowers through the computer =) so i noticed the seedlings you had outside of the barn transitioning to being outside. i started some dahlia tubers in our garage not thinking i would get anywhere since i have no grow lights or anything, just fell in love with the tubers at home depot and decided to pick them up. well they took off and i have 5 out of 6 plants thriving! we are in nj zone 7a and safe to plant outside after mothers day so last week i set the pot they are all in outside since we had daytime temps in the 70s and nightime in the high 50s. the next morning the taller ones were windblown over with broken stems in some places =( i dragged them back into the garage but dont know if i can salvage them, what can i do if anything? cant wait to sit down with baby girl and watch our GA summer videos every morning at 7am

Oh, how I wish you were my neighbors so you could help me. I have a drip system that was installed two years ago that runs from the back yard to the front yard. At the time I didn't have all the plants ready to install so now that I have all my plants I'm wondering how do I adjust the system for plants that require less water than others? Help? If I could start from scratch your video is definitely helpful. And, how did Aaron get the tubing to run underneath the walkway? Did he drill a hole underneath? I love organization containers for all sorts of crafts and when I saw Aaron's system on that dolly I could feel the adrenaline rush! Great video. Love to see you both on these videos.

My husband and I have been thinking about adding a drip system and this video was eye-opening to the entire process. I appreciate you taking the time to put this video together. You have given me the confidence to experiment with new plants. Each growing season I have expanded my garden in some way whether its trying out a new plant variety or having 5 yards of compost delivered to freshen up old garden beds or add new ones. I watch your videos every day and take a little nugget of information from each one. Gardening has brought some peace to my life, and I want to thank you for all you and Aaron do. You are an inspiration to all.

I love this! We are a total Milwaukee family here. We have an electrical, telecom and security supply company and our cargo van is completely outfitted with these Milwaukee PackOuts. They are amazing for organization and ease of use. Love the cart system. We even got a couple drawers with foam to carve out storage for specific tools we have. I did buy the Dewalt drill from Power Planter. I got yelled at by my husband and oldest son for buying that. They proceeded to buy me the Milwaukee Hole Hawg for Mothers Day Gotta love Milwaukee.

Great video on your supplies & storage! Where do you buy the crimp tool? I just bought some 1/2 PEX clamps & don't have the tool to crimp them. Also the 1/2 clamp is a tight fit on the 1/2 emitter line I'm using. Should I go up a size to 3/4 inch for the 1/2 emitter line? I have learned from your videos how to install my drip irrigation system. This year I put in a small hydrangea garden in the back yard and need some of the 1/2 clamps due to some water leakage at my elbow turns. Thank you for all your educational videos.

Im working on installing my Rain Bird drip tubing in four grid patterns for my front yard (all garden and no grass) and Im doing a grid because you have suggested its the best method.
QUESTION: Will you be converting the tubing in the South Garden to a grid system once its all planted up? I can understand why you might just do loops around fresh plantings for now so you dont waste water and encourage weeds by watering in areas where theres no plants yet.

I have a question, I currently have 1/2 tubing in my front flowerbed that runs against the house, I want to run some now out to a island flowerbed about 25 away. Ive dug a trench but now wondering how deep it should be and would I need to possibly run it through some pvc pipe? This area does get driven over at times with our truck/trailer and sometimes the tractor. I dont know if the 1/2 tubing would crack or not? Please advise, I sure would appreciate it.

Great informative video. My husband and I owned an irrigation contracting business for many years. The info in this video was spot on! The best advice from Aaron; know when to hire a professional and what you can do yourself. We were hired several times a year by DIYers who tried and failed to install their own irrigation systems. Its not rocket science. But, you do have to know what youre doing. It ended up costing them more money in the long run.

I was just working on my drip and came inside for a break because I was sweating. And here you guys are putting on a heavier coat! So funny. I should have done this much sooner. I also put in addition emitters in my drip line. Then I read the manufacture say not to do that. I guess that it maybe slows the amount coming out of the holes. Any idea why they say not to? Too late now, Im not removing them! Just wondered what you thought.
