Creating Tiered Fall Containers for Maximum Plant Interest! Been catching up on the last few videos. I have a few questions so I hope you see this! I am in Michigan, but also zone 6. I noticed you don't have any Monarda/Bee Balm in any of your gardens. I'm wondering if there is a reason? I loooove their smell. Also, could you do a video on your recommendations for someone who may have limited space for a garden? Like a corner garden?

I loved the close up tutorial style of this video! We can't always see what's going on, this was great.
So many comments. your children are so well behaved, true sign of well loved kids. That field behind the fence have your neighbors considered selling yet?
Love the design of those pots. I'll be keeping my purple fountain grass and just adding fall flowers.
I've never seen ornamental kale that big or fresh! Where do you source those? Are you buying in bulk for this season of planting? it seems like we're always wishing away time for the next season
Great job Aaron on the videography!

I am so glad I watch this video all the way through because when laura said, build a second layer in the pot with cardboard, I had such a different idea and I couldn t understand how the card but wouldn t right away. I was thinking of a platform like a flat cardboard across the top with a ring makes so much more sense and will hold up longer. As usual went so much and loved it. I love Samantha shoes off right away playing with the kitty playing in the gravel and actually filming with her compact was wonderful. Again, thank you guys so much for sharing.

Samantha filming made my day! That is precious! What do I do about an ornamental cabbage that is super tall? It is about 3 feet tall and I have about 4 of them in a group. How do I even style that in a container when it looks like the leaning tower of Pisa? I am afraid to chop it down and just use the tops like you did in this arrangement because I m unsure how they dry? Please let me know your thoughts.

Your little shadow! So adorable, Samantha Grace! Did Benjamin start school? How did mama do with that? I bet you all are missing him during the day! Beautiful containers! Question: Is there any way to prevent the burn on the hydrangeas? All of my blooms turned that brown this year. I wasn't sure if that meant not enough water? But you are thinking it's burn?

Love your videos and always look forward to the next one, My favorite moment in this video was Aaron's answer to Laura's question to Samantha Grace - Where'd your shoes go babe? and down goes the camera to Samantha's shoes on the other side of the planter. Moments like this - PRICELESS! Thank you both for sharing your life with us and making us smile!

Hi Laura and family! Samantha Grace has been so cute in today's and yesterday's video! I just smile and giggle at interactions with you and the garden around her. Thank you for sharing the fall arrangements in the pots today
I have been looking for something different to do at my front porch. I think I can do this too. Thank you.

You added another employee. She is zooming in and everything. I love it. Samantha Grace is so cute. I can't believe she walks in the gravel with no shoes. That would kill my feet. I never go barefooted. I love the containers. I didn't think you would be able to top some of your Christmas arrangements, but these are beautiful.

Hello. Laura, I actually enjoyed the pots challenge you and Aaron did. I enjoyed the individuality of the pots and that there was some different to look at. I think if everything looks the same, I find it und underwhelming. I love those pots. Btw, how are the racks? I know they were planted out with beautiful plants.

Laura! Fall containers I ve been waiting patiently and you did not disappoint at all! Kale is pure perfection in autumn planters! Might you do some with the purple type? Love to see what you could come up with! Samantha and her bun and videoing were precious but the two of you riding together just melted my heart!

I never would have thought of putting corn stalks in a planting container, but it is incredibly beautiful! Maybe the microphone was off for finding out if that one was clogged? Did you say what was wrong with that one?
Had to laugh when Samantha had kicked off her shoes! she s really her mama s daughter!

Those planters are awesome! Thanks for the tip for elevating the center! I have ONE place I can do that. It would be great. My corn has not dried out yet. But may try it anyway. It also will be exposed to the wind. I didn't think I wanted passes, but you changed my mind. Love you and your family. Blessings!

Love these planters along your drive the choice of plants with the corn look awesome and I so enjoyed watching Samantha Grace pretending to film with her compact mirror; and of course loosing her shoes right away oh and what a cool way to make a tiered planter using cardboard. Soooo creative Laura!

Samantha Grace suddenly barefoot
Love this idea, I would do this but without the blooms, so pretty!
I don't usually decorate for fall, every year I tried even one pot we get an early freeze, or early snow, just enough to kill or damage my pot or pumpkins

It feels like Laura is ushering in fall with this video and I m here for it! I agree with the consistent look being pleasing to the eye. Wondering if you d ever try rotating 2 different looks, 4 each but stagger every other. Just thought that would be a fun way to play with colors

The pots look fabulous, you have inspired me to run right out to the nursery. I know you like uniformity, since the petunias fill out the pots in the summer, have you thought about alternating the plantings? Half with taller plants the other half with petunias and verbena?

Good Afternoon, lovely video as always. The containers by the fence look amazing. Any plans to do a video in the Hartley with a plant tour of whats in there and what you're overwintering etc. Your Hartley is such a beautiful space surrounded by more lovely garden views. Thanks

Your container videos are always my favorites! They're the ones I save and watch multiple times. I have learned so much about creating my own containers from you. Will you be doing fall containers in the window boxes? Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge.

Love those planters you did! I think once the Kale gets that purple color to it, it will look even more beautiful! Will you be doing that design too in your box planters on the side porch? The planters by the Hearty are gorgeous too! Love the yellow, orange and green colors!
