Beautiful Flowers and your bouquet is stunning. & absolutely worthy of a bride. Your garden is magical. I love it all. I have hummingbirds that visit my nectar filled feeders while my hanging baskets and ground perennials are playing catchup from this weather in Michigan 5b. I do have to comment on the pesky mosquitoes & gnat looking rascals. I was outside all lday and bight Saturday. in the sun and dirt. I am covered from them both picking on me. Sprays & Foggers work for a while but I like the hummingbirds and butterflies and bees that visit everything when in bloom. I had never heard of the mosquito catcher that size, so will have to do some digging Thanks for sharing. love this video. I hope the baby yshower was a success.

I-ve never heard your Grandma-s terminology, greening up the neck- but -collaring- a bouquet is something I-ve heard many times. I had never heard of using forsythia for greenery and it-s been my go to since watching your fabulous videos! One of the reasons I love your videos is that your passion for flowers and gardening is so evident and your joy comes through! I feel that too and it does feel like -my garden club- when I watch. I-m grateful!

What a beautiful arrangement! We are still waiting for peonies to bloom in southern Wisconsin. We received 3. 6 inches of rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Also we are going to be very warm, so I'm hoping the ranunculus don't get harmed. They are budding but no blooms yet. The anemones started blooming a week ago and are so beautiful. I have daisies, lupines, verbascum and baptisia blooming. Thanks for sharing your garden beauty with us.

I gave a girlfriend a dahlia tuber after she commented last year on the beauty of one I had. I am trying to remove the red/orange flowers from my garden and this dahlia variety is fire pot. The color is exactly what you would expect from the name. She sent me a photo today of a bloom. The deer left her with one. I suggested she cut it and bring it in to enjoy instead of letting it become deer salad.

Such an inspiration, thank you for sharing! This is my first year really gardening down in hot and humid Houston, Texas and your videos have really helped me learn how to start plants from seed and watch them grow. I wish I could include pictures in this comments, but let me just say, I have had some successes and some failures but have enjoyed everyone step of the way! Thank you!

I was wondering if that peony is a Cora Stubbs? You would probably know better than me. I have tried many of the same thing you have for mosquitoes to no avail (sorry I am no help to you. I am anxious to know if that item you bought works for you. I am sure you have them worse where you are since it is more humid there. So if it works for you that would be a great testimony.

That bouquet is so beautiful Danielle! Omg a purple loving bride would be so happy with that! I'm playing catch up on videos after being away camping and yes the weather has been crazy. I was wearing a hoodie in the beginning then getting 90s towards the end of the trip lol. This time of the year is so beautiful with all the various shades of purple -

I was so hoping you would show us the bouquet making! It-s stunning! Love seeing the effect of repetition, I need to do that more. I-m so happy that I found you. You are so talented, and your comments about needing to relax about your Grandma-s garden and let it happen should be my new mantra. I-m a 40 year gardener, and I-m still learning. Thank you!

The garden is looking fabulous, and that bouquet is absolutely gorgeous --- and yes it would be wonderful as a bridal bouquet ------ I'm the opposite when it comes to getting stressed about arrangements though because I'm not very confident at the spiral hand tying technique and it takes me sooo long, like an actual hour haha

Linda S - Danielle, your arrangement is absolutely stunning! I am amazed at how you make it look effortless to create and that all those beautiful flowers were harvested from your own gardens. We also enjoy hummingbirds coming to our feeders. You have inspired me to start working on planting flowers for them to enjoy as well.

The peonies and iris are long past here in coastal NC (zone 8. It is already wicked hot here. Your purple, chartreuse, green color scheme is very cooling. I want to do that but there are a lot of lingering orange (ditch lilies, red (asiatic lilies) left from the days when my garden was young and I was just trying to fill it.

Hi Danielle! I saw this variety and thought it might be the white and light pink peony you transplanted from your grandma-s garden- it may not be, but it looked pretty close! It was the Lactiflora Lady Alexandra Duff variety.
Thank you so much for your videos and I look forward to the ones you post in the future!

The only thing I-ve found with the dynatrap is makes sure you buy one that-s big enough - perhaps the one that works on an acre plot- mine is the smaller one and it keeps my porch(20x16) mosquito free! The larger one is about 185$ and so far my light is still burning after 3 years! Love your garden!

The vitamin that really works for me is B 50 complex, I am a mosquito magnet, but taking that before I go out in my gardens or sitting on my porch, those pesky mosquito bites are very minimal. I feel your pain, nothing more aggravating to want to be outside and know there's a monster lurking to get me.

Maybe it's too personal of a question, but if not, do you have any children? I heard on a recent video that your husband helped with building a raised bed for you for mother's day. Also a question, what would you recommend using to stake 2 hollyhock plants right next to each other? Thanks for all you do!

I too like to add annuals in my garden with the humming birds in mind. Your garden is lovely with the new additions and the arrangement is beautiful. I have to work a bit harder to achieve such results. lol It's always a pleasure to see a new video from you, have a great week!

Beautiful arrangement Danielle! I love your chosen colour scheme, those colours plus white are the most serene combination in my opinion. Something very soothing about it. Hope you had fun at the party and I absolutely love this garden club!

Your arrangment is just beautiful. I sometimes try to do a bouquet with the same or similar colors but I love the look of your bouquet where there is so many different types. Hope the hummingbird will find the new additions to your garden.
