How to Catch A Limit of Brook Trout: Summer Edition (Part 3 of 4) hunt: Thanks for the video! COuld you not potentially sustain yourself off grid if you live near a fast moving oxygenated river that is full of brook trouts? The reason is because I am seriously considering buying some property by a fast moving river that is known to have lots of brook trout in it, and it is fairly secluded so there should be little risk of it being overfished. I would also like to install a river turbine, and get free energy from the rivers movements. The river is fast enough that it doesnt freeze over in the winter at the fast running falls which is situated on this property. You just simply throw you line it at the bottom of the falls and there always seems to be brookies there. WHat do you think of this potential?

I love fishing Brook trout mid summer as they are easy to find in the lakes i fish. I use the sonar to locate under water springs and drop a worm in and bang fish is on!

We have a flat fish here called a sunfish aka red breast an they love to wrap u around limbs. Stump knockers, shell crackers and cat fish. Love fishing
