ok i am only 5min into the vid, glad i found someone going after black squirrel because this is a species we have here in canada and i wanted to know if it was edible like the american species and sure enough i see you are indeed not only in canada but in ontario as well, i thought however it was illegal to hunt them, also do you have a lic to posses a fire arm and hunt? not everyone has this, i do not have it but i would like to catch some of these in my local park using large rat traps, im fed up of the gov keeping us from being able to hunt small game and all the bs red tape so i was juts curious about your situation as well, now are these critters chewy like they say or tender enough if fried or grilled and maybe brined before cooking?

Squirrels are plentiful. I lived in the city of Fargo, ND (Metro area, around 200k to 250k people, if you count the other attaching cities easily. I got a squirrel trap and it would catch around 2 to 6 squirrels per pay. 2 min, and 6 max, every single day for 3 months straight during the summer! I probably would have caught more if I was paying more attention to it. One time I caught 2 at the same time and a few other times I caught birds. If you want to get a trap for survival I recommend a live squirrel trap. So far the best bait is peanut butter, but in a survival situation it would be nuts, preferably ground into thick goo to bring out the smell, with whole nuts on them.

Thank you for standing up for us men! Men are different than women! My wife and I embrace our differences. I don-t agree with everything, nor should I expect you to agree with everything I believe. Love that you aren-t cowing down to the social media bullying. Love your programs! I got hooked in a while ago, and decided to watch all your stuff from the beginning. Godspeed your fight for your beliefs, and God bless you and your family!

Just now finding this video. I enjoy the stories but think you could tell them while doing an activity. I don't think you owe an explanation to the soft people of society. Kudos for trying to convert a few but most are stuck in their ways and I don't think they deserve reasons for why masculine men are the way they are. Loving the videos all the way from Texas!

When I was growing up, some of the men in the neighborhood will go out squirrel hunting. At eight years old I learned how to skin and dress squirrels. They were delicious! I was a girl then, and I-m a girl now. I have to admit that the guys thought it was probably an oddity that I wanted to learn how to do this, but I thought it was a great experience.

Hey Boss, appreciate your thoughts on some of these things. I have two young boys and my wife grew up with 3 sisters (and a brother who was much younger) and has had some difficulty getting to understand some of how boys tick, a lot of the topics you brought up, will make some good talking points. And thanks for all the snaring videos!

Great vid! I use your vids to show to my son because I'm not able to go out and hunt and fish. So I showed my son the bear hunt and how you ate it and we talked about how it's natural to hunt and fish. Now i will show him this vid so he can see a boy in nature. Thanks for sharing with your tribe.
