One thing that civilizalized society has been spared the grunt work of killing and preserving our own food. food is everywhere and were fortunate. But watching the people in other parts of the world we see they eat and kill anything and everything to survive. I love furry animals but I know they would eat me if I starved to death in the woods waiting for fruit and vegetables that I couldn't find. I know wolves and bears would kill and attack and eat me. I have a very sensitive heart but I find it much easier to be sympathetic in a warm house, filled with food and sweets I bought from the grocery store. If the men and women could be so bold as to stay in an environment that only provided the food they caught. starvation would prove who will live to regenerated the next generation? Do they agree they are willing to starve to save an animal that is on the food chain for other animals? Lack of understanding perpetuates these unrealistic harse criticisms. And I truly love a living breathing furry playful happy creature!

My uncle told me.
During ww2 his unit was in a small village in Italy. The had been hard fighting for 2 days and been with out rations for 3 days.
When the fighting was over. The older lady's in the village. ( about all that was actually left) cooked them a huge meal. He said it was one of the best he had ever had.
Well a few of them had to go answer natures call. They came back saying they saw dog hides out in the edge of the filed. He said a lot of the guys got sick.
I asked did you. No son I was full relitly safe and happy for once. And simply put after 3 days with no rations and abut the prior month of nothing but army rations. The dammed dog was good.
He said I have not ate dog since that I know of. But if I got really hungery again I would in a hart beat.

I love your views on eating meat, I'm a vegetarian and I respect your opinions way more, than the -animal protecting- bs. I think your way is so much better than going to a store and buying meat, because the animals there had a horrible life and the consumer doesn't value the dead animal in the way they would, if they had to kill what they eat even just once. And the whole thing about pets annoys me as well, if you eat meat, be consistent, a dog or a cat are considered food in different countries too, therefore they don't eat pigs. So if someone eats meat, they shouldn't judge someone for eating other animals than they themselves do or for killing what they are eating. I really like watching your videos, sorry if there are mistakes in my comment, i'm not a native speaker.

I'll have it up in a while though, Friday I have an early season grouse hunt that I've been sitting on releasing due to all the other adventures! -

my parents have taught me that i should stay away from the woods and that eating wild animals (doesn't matter if you are a hunter or not) is basically the biggest crime you could do as a human, and that it's a monstrous and traumatic thing. i realize everytime when i watch these videos or go out to the woods that i'm extremly dissconected from nature and that i have problems roaming freely due to the illusions and judgment i learned over the years from my parents, the people around me and myself.
but i'm positive that with small steps i can overcome this problem and enjoy the woods with all it's glory! :)

I have a question more for (very few viewers) have you ever seen or worked at a feed lot or Slaughter house? they are terrible. Hunting and fishing are ways that are very humane (if you have half a brain) and most importantly the animals and fish have a chance to live in nature and in nature they get eaten and caught way differently than a good human hunter who kills quickly. believe it or not fish and meat don't just appear in the store LOL

Fact is if you eat meat you are no different to WB. Just because someone else kills your animal and u don't get to do all the messy parts does not make you better lol. Supermarket meat was once an animal too. I'm not a hunter, I have never killed an animal, but I eat meat and I realise that that means in a way I have killed every animal I have eaten and I won't pretend I have the moral high ground.

what people don't understand is that only for the past hundred years out of hundreds of thousands of years that as humans of being the top predators and keeping the animal population and check now all that's gone and everybody's like they're like hunting animals is a bad thing people are ignorant they're dumb and they're lazy they don't understand there I guess what you would call sheep

People I have worked in a prison I have Sean the worst of the worst. Humans.
If some big happens and the food trucks going to the stores stop for 7 days or more.
I would not be concerned with some one eating your pets.
I would beconcerd about some one deciding they wanted long pork.

You are far more patient with the clueless city slickers than I would be. God gave me canine teeth, it is obvious why he gave them to me and what he wanted me to do with them. If folks do not like it, they can go get bent. I will not apologize to those that do not understand why God did not give us rodent teeth and created us as carnivore instead.
