So true about fish nutrients. I-m a biochemist and at work I asked several coworkers why bears and other mammalian omnivores (carnivore centric) don-t have heart issues like humans (who chose carnivore centric diets. We found several research papers that actually studied this issue. One researcher proposed that mammalian/avian/fish internal organs contain agents (from connective tissues) that when exposed to fatty plaques dissolve them.
But yeah, we need to eat more fish. even the guts.

BTW The guy from Marauder Tactical (UK army surplus rucksacks mostly maraudertactical. co. uk) Were asking me for people I know that might be interested in giving their view on gear in exchange for some. Ya'll would be a blast to camp with! You have your own gear, and your own tasks, and you get along. I swear, more often than not I'm the guy with the gear and the knowledge and I am the one taking people out for their first time. It'd be awesome to go with another person who you don't have to worry about lol. Thanks for another video!

happy birthday. nice fish. nice trip. i use pint plastic rum, vodka etc bottles with the plastic top to put my cooking oils, water, + in for transporting and carrying, they are so much durable and pack so much easier I USE THEM TO STORE FLOUR SUGAR POWDER MILK. ETC. ALSO THE 1/2 pint bottles are good for same purpose

Maybe the funniest thing I saw in this video was a commercial sponsored by Panera Bread. I know the cake had some corn flour. but seriously, bread is not trout, or beaver, or bear, or blueberries, or choke cherries, or brains and whatever else the big wild year diet consists of.

Have you ever caught burbot/ ling? I don't know if it's something you'd be interested in to but it would be cool to see a video targeting them through the ice. I haven't gotten a chance to catch them but I've heard they're really good eating

I go on backpacking trips with my family and they make fun of me for my heavy sleeping bag so it-s good to see someone else is willing to carry more weight to get good sleep. Those plastic bags make me sweat too.

Next time you clean a trout try removing the blood line cavity with a teaspoon, run the teaspoon along it twice rinse in water, it does a great job!
