Hilarious! -Maybe it's because you're digging around the haunches there. - I'm not squeamish when it comes to trying unusual foods, but may draw the line at skunk. Would probably go for a dog, cat, or rat first. Really nice of you guys to save the skull for the young biologist-in-training. Was house-sitting a cousin's dog when it got sprayed. I used a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to bathe the dog, followed by fresh water rinse. Got rid of the smell, but the dog didn't like the bath so much. Perhaps the vinegar irritated it's skin)

In a life or dead situation while facing starvation, would skunk meat still be edible if a gland ruptured? Or will the meat make you vomit or get sick because it would be toxic then?

I usually don't get mad with hunting videos, but this one made me pissed. He literally killed a defenseless animal just to make it into an absolutely grotesque meal.

I plan to do some live trapping of skunks to de-stink a small community this year, and tan the hides. As far as eating them, I'll pass
