Probably the main thing he did wrong was not identifying a safe direction and constantly pointing it in that direction. You handled it better and kept it pointed in a safe direction even when stopping between shots. He was probably a bit casual for some people-s likes, especially when he reloaded just before the multiple shots he pointed it at his lower leg/foot. That-s a big no no.

i constantly cringed every time he stuck his finger inside the trigger guard even when its unloaded. negligent discharges only happen when you do that
you showed better trigger discipline than he did for the most part. its always fun to learn to shoot a new type of weapon but make sure you learn the right way

I enjoy your videos but have to say that, I wish you had a better first time shooting experience!
That guy is one that gets you shoot, Bad training! I don't know his back ground, but seems very K Mart.
I am sorry I do hope you get with someone a little less dangerous and more professional.

No offense, this might be one of the worst demonstrations of how to shoot and gun safety I have ever seen. You displayed far better weapon control and safety than your -teacher- did. Come back to Texas and get some proper training.

First time shooting a pistol, you should of started out with something simple, like a 44 mag. lol you would of liked that.
