Get Surfshark VPN at - Enter promo code WOODBEARD for 83% off and 1 extra month for free! I get access to the old pond for the day to check the status of our trophy trout and we fire up the chainsaw to get to the back 40 acres of the property. Learning to use a chainsaw was pretty fun, but also intimidating. It's always important to learn news skills though to keep life interesting! We cut some trails in the thick bush to access the creak, pond and beyond. We'll show you the concept for the land-layout including a new pond. Most of the animals are found at the back of the property, so the idea is to make it easy for us to get back there

Once we pulled some wood out of the shed into the kitchen and we were eating supper later that night and I was told to sit still.
A flying squirrel was inside one of the tree chunks and it woke up
It rain upstairs and my dad chased it down and thats when it started gliding down two stories and we found out it was a flying squirrel.
Ended up trapping it in the middle bathroom in a bucket and let it outside.
After that we wacked any hollow logs before we brought them in the house.
My parents new house they've had since about 1994 or so they have the wood outside in the front porch not inside the house

I got my 041 Super for my 12th birthday. My brother borrowed it when he was 16 and managed to cut his jeans from seam to seam without a scratch. That was the last time he tried anything motorized until his driving lessons ended after threading the needle down a one way street. His instructor ranted about the benefits of public transportation while he got his heart rate under control. He did buy a house recently but unfortunately 56 is too old to apply for a lawn mower learner's licence.
Peace.

You're bringing back memories of when I first learned. Make sure you learn how to sharpen that chain, properly Proper angle, adjusting the rakers.
Done right, a chain can last you a couple of seasons.
Seriously, after all the years you've spend doing bushcraft, how have you never used a chainsaw?

I thought you couldnt make fires in Canada because of the Corona virus due to it possible spreading and then it would take emergency respond people away from potentially helping out with the people who have Corona. is there any truth to that?

Wow! There-s way more trout left in that pond than I expected! Lots of food to collect, quit farting around with the chainsaw. I feel like an addition to the cabin is inevitable. Looking forward to whatever the you all decide.

I just have to remember that in this situation the wilderness living type days are over for now and i have to be content with your suburban farm rereational hunting and upkeep of your hunting escape cabin.

Then fish look soo much more naturally wild after only a year at most, and I sure can see a major difference in the water with that oxygen setup -, let us know if the fish tastes any better -

Stihl chainsaws have electronics which can be damaged by an EMP. For a survivalist a Husqvarna chainsaw is a better choice because it doesn't have any electronics and should be safe from EMP.
