Hunting for Food in the Forest, Catch, Clean, Cook (I found a wild Magic Mushroom)

We traveled way up North in pursuit of wild game birds - grouse. In order to stay close to the birds, we opted to car-camp, that would mean we were nomadic and could travel in any direction to get more grouse bagged. We put together a wonderful meal of rice, vegetable medley, fresh caught wild grouse topped with 'butter chicken sauce' cooked and enjoyed in the bush

Perfect rice every time. NO MEASURING. Boil water. I like to have enough water to cover the rice I am cooking by about 2 inches (4cm. Once water is rolling boil add rice boil for 8 min. Remove from heat. Drain as much water as you can with the lid. Re Cover with lid and let sit for 8 min (no heat) Perfect rice every time.

HEY THERE! love your content! PLEASE do a video where u explain the hunting laws of what u just did as well as the general guidelines of hunting in your area, very curious to understand how they track, monitor and regulate what hunters do and maintain species and damage control.

You won't die from amenitas, there like blue ringers, cabenzize's, and the same as liberty caps, but becarfull eating theses things alot of time people do not come back as themselfs after the trip. It is psycho active,

Where abouts are ya? I'm hunting between Thunder Bay and Armstrong- already a ton of snow. Haven't found any birds for a few weeks.
Also, buddy- don't get caught shooting down roads. Dangerous habit!

that butter grouse looks perfect! did you just get the curry without chicken? i thought pre-cooked butter chicken always comes with chicken. anyways. great to see you two in the bush.

Assuming you guys are on crown land in this video. how far drive of a drive would you have to go to avoid Toronto people and car campers? 4 or 5 hours drive north of Toronto?

I wish i had a buddy who enjoys this as much as me there-s nothing wrong with doing things like this alone but its nice to have a friend to laugh and share memories with

You guys seem really bad at shooting. Do you practice or just go out with your automatic shotgun during open season and blaze away at 30 yards lol

Don't eat the skin of the amanita mascara or any of that family. The skin of this mushroom holds most of the dangerous toxins.
