I'm that old we were not allowed nets in less than 60 ft. of water when we fished shores less net hardly no net was dropped or left by us the monster oats 20miles they'd leave they did not give a damn on their pickup out deep was worse us little guys we treasured every bit of our net I hung net for a fishing family and more pregnant girls of the family hung net kids and all of us grew up furnishings gone old family's lucky to keep going. this is truth big boats monster industry. How much net the left they leave. we never left only a little cause it cost us so mush to replace. old fishing family's knocked out by that's the ones left filament nets not us some yes we did we tried not our boats had capability 2000ft. If that big fish boats 10000 to 20000 or more. we had a capacity haul of 2000pounds of mackeral and their ships 100000 and more so200000 or300000 that depends on nets. we have to say this how and when would montefiliment net get left in the ocean it dose so who dose it well it's easy to regulate 20000 ft the same 2000ft. so is it brought back dose it matter how much goes out it's how much you bring back. agreed or have I waste my time

My friend Rob Fenton won the smoothound competition. Held in Sandwich bay, Kent, England. Nobody caught a smoothound on the day. He caught most species. The only man to spray the bait with WD40

They make a plastic tool called a shuttle to repair your cast net, when i was a kid my mom would repair my dads net, its a lot cheaper than buying a new net.
