I sailed around Fiji for five years back in 2002-2007 and they told the same stories about barracuda there too. Different species, different ocean but the same ciguatera scare story. And a scary story it is. But it was actually a good fish to eat, and I ate it several times. Still, I got such scoff from the yachties I ended up avoiding it. They said the same thing about Parrot fish, because they eat reef and get a virus. I never saw one confirmed case of ciguatera, meaning that the fish was tested OR the human had a confirmed case of it. But that's what they called it if you got sick from eating fish. It has to rank way above carp, catfish and any pond-raised fish in terms of being free of mercury and pesticides. Some day we may find out that eating barracuda doubles the human intellect, who knows?

Princess meltdown, pressure is how you relate to it. Someone else would be happy they got to go out on the water and are alive to enjoy it. Remember your fishing basics when things are not going right, just like you tell us that watch your outings in the fishing world.
Rein in that vanity. you have an outdoor sport as a job, you think a farm girl cares when she's working whether she has her nails painted? She cares about working. when its time to relax if they have time, then they think about pampering.
Do some more people watching and you will see what folks accept or bothers them. and what bothers you when you see it.
You have your Darcizzle work attire and presentation, which might be adjusted for the environment you are working to be safe (1st) and comfortable.

Yes. More hooks That's how we pulled 2and3 groupers but old fishing oats wood reels hooked on boat. You guys are doing it with poles awesome even bait fish. anyway that longline thing one trip out no more for someone else. you are not bad luck get positive you are out there in a mans world stop no more cutting yourself down girl. Have fun cus all you want all women behind you guys hey without mine or he without me we would not got 39 in river 7hrs. anyway I caught mine to so we both make it happen you both make it happen yeah couples fishing and respect and love for each other.

I fully realize the stress that you go through when you are not catching fish. It feels like you are working very hard without having any success. But it is important to note that you are an inspiration even when things are not going your way. Everybody has those days, End it is encouraging to see you push through those circumstances. Congratulations on an awesome barracuda and a successful fishing trip. Very much enjoyed it guys, I am looking forward to the next one!

I, we've seen a lot of Sweetness through the years from you Darcizzle but today's frustrations showed up. but it's ok you're forgiven because we all need at times to let out a little steam and scream hahaha. just trust and believe that it gets better and that this is just one moment that things went sour.

It's been about 2 years since I was able to go fishing, due to health reasons. But I don't care, this spring I'm going to be casting lines. Too cold for me to be out now. Today 12/11/2019 it's 26 degrees. I live in West Virginia, we got snow last night. (I H-A-T-E cold weather and snow)

Darcy, I went Inshore fishing yesterday In Tampa Bay and caught 6 snook, a trout, a redfish and a pinfish. The biggest snook was about 29 inches. I hated to throw them back but my guide said snook are not in season. I really appreciate all that I have learned from your videos!

those losses below the surface were possibly dolphin stealing your fish. yeh, they're beautiful but i hate to see them when i'm fishing bcuz i know they will take my catch if they want to.
anyway, Sizzle was looking great as usual so not a bad day, considering.
