Watched this video about 50 times last summer and made a day trip out from Thompson to Wekusko near the end of September in the fall only to find the boat launch and the park gates closed for the season. A local told me that they lock it up after September long, but Brian told me I missed it by a few days only. I did manage to get on the water and had a decent day on the main lake but nothing at the base of the falls as the whitefish had all moved in their and schooled up and chased the walleye out. I am guessing that this video was shot closer to the beginning of September? First time there in the fall, usually go near the opener and have good luck.

hey Jay, was wondering if you could tell us what rods/reels your use in your videos for each fish, and explains why you choose that type of rod. I think it will help lots of new and old fisher man and women knew what to know what to use when targeting different types of fish. If you see this please try to do this in all your videos thanks.

awesome short film mate, love this, always wanted to do a fishing trip like this up in north Manitoba, have camped and driven up there so much so beautiful, would love to cast my rod into the water. those are some awesome catches

as a fan from kenora, seeing you fished here near where my familys from in nothern manitoba makes me happy. ON TOP of that you fish longbow which is another place I lived, I have to come on a fishing trip with you soon!

Kinda weird watching all your videos knowing we grew up like 20 miles apart, but different countries, haha. I graduated from Neche ND highschool. I go to Altona for Chinese food every couple of months
