Stocking my Pond for the FIRST TIME

I finally got around to stocking my pond full of fish Comment below some suggestions of what I should add to the pond PEACE This video is sponsored by Toyota Juniah87: If you don't have one already, you should buy a dissolved oxygen meter. If your D. O. levels drop below 9 you will want to invest in an aerator or two. The water looks very still, so I'd expect the D. O. levels to be pretty low, especially with the amount of fish you just added. Winter won't be too bad, as colder water holds much more D. O. but you'll want to closely monitor these levels throughout the summer.

maybe with certain animals it matters. But i feel for the most part human smell is a complete myth. If and animal smells something it likes it gonna take it. FOR EXAMPLE a friend has some beer in a cooler next to a striped bass or any other fishr. The can smells and has a lil fish taste but i'm drinking it cause it tastes just as good and is what i want. Put a hook in that can and reel me up.

Don't even need the bluegills for clean up just for food the carp will do a majority of the work just don't let the explode and I would have put crappie in there way better eating fish and do not use rock bass way too evasive they were put in a lake near me in Canada and within a couple of years they took over the lake

I noticed you said you put the corn out with your hands Ive never had a problem when I put corn out here in Florida I use my hands every time to spread it and here they can be spooky in areas have a spot behind my house I go two every 3-4 days to put corn out and they and back there every night wont cause a big problem

it is asian carp that are an invasive species that is why you can be arrested for selling them. common and grass carp help the environment thrive that is why they are a naturalized species. it would be sad to kill them when they get bigger carp are always really fun to catch. they fight way better than catfish and bass.

Why would you stock an invasive species in your own personal pond? If it is a fact that by introducing Carp you make it harder for other types of fish to live, why would you do that? Wouldn't you rather have other types of fish thrive, rather than all your fish struggle, except your Carp?

Dude. You have to section off a part of the pond with fencing to give the some time to acclimate to the wild. If you have a bass population in that pond they will just eat them like fat kids eating candy untill they are all gone.

i'd be pretty pissed if i told somebody to go pickup some pre bagged fish and found out they went round my whole setup filming and fishing everything out to look at them, pretty rude.

Damn you said pearch it reminded me of when I was a kid and I would go catch them and bring them to my great grandmother and she would fry the tails and there so good
