Here on the Stick Marsh/Farm 13 reservoir in east/central Florida, the good ole original Bomber Long-A #15-A is such a killer jerk bait. It works great here year round, so long as conditions are good & the bite is on. It has out-produced all other jerk baits I've tried. Twitch, twitch, pause and BAM! They always crush it on the pause. You can work the lure in this way from the surface down to 3 feet, or in between. And it really attracts bigger bass in addition to the others. Every year, from December all the way through May, I catch at least several bass weighing in the 7 lb class on the Long-A. and lost a few in the double digits on it. Some days they don't want it for whatever reason, where they prefer the Gambler Big EZ or a Whopper Plopper. All 3 lures work so well for me year round down here, I keep all 3 tied on at all times. But if I could only choose 1 of the 3. I'll take the Long-A. And yes, they are difficult to cast in windy conditions. but their ability to attract our bigger bass or quality fish is well worth the trade-off.

I bet they would have hit a buzzbait! Justin you should change the display on your screen. I find it easier to have the side imaging display on the whole width of your screen. More real estate of the bottom should have more pixels if you want. Have 2ds and down scan split the remaining of the screen. Also you know you can just tap and slide to right the menu bar on the right side of your screen allowing you for a bigger screen to locate those mondos.

This is totally off topic, but my 3 1/2 year old princess just did something new. All I can say is In about 3 years, when your little princess turns 3 1/2, don't get too mad when she cleans the fireplace ashes out by spreading them all over the living room! She will only do it because she thinks she's helping daddy! So. from one fishin freak to another. enjoy the surprises too! Good luck with fatherhood bro!

Ha I work for the railroad and do that often stop right in the crossing because we do industry switching and the guy on the ground is throwing a switch to go down a different track. But we get alot of hand gestures and some language shouted at us often I kinda laugh because I can't move the train until he tells me to.
