A couple buddies and I were shark fishing off the beach the other night. Well we ended up hooking a fish most likely a lemon or bull shark and getting snagged on the reef in the process. We both hooked the same reef and got thrown on our asses when we were able to set the snag free. Sorry for the lack of land based shark fishing on this channel, but it has been a rough year full of fails. Enjoy Shark week on TV, in the meantime. BUY Landshark Shirts Here!

Watching a few of your videos has won over my beautiful bride. She now understands why a boat is a necessity for me! I am semi-retired in the Philippines. Due to overfishing, pollution and poor fisheries management, you MUST put to sea if you desire to really get it on with hook and line. Your videos have shown my wife what it is that I am missing here. Thank you big time for posting your adventures.

Bring back the landbased sharkfishing videos! I originally subed for the LBSF videos years ago. I love the new content but I miss those old videos man. I want to see more hammers, tigers, and blacktips on the beach! As one landbased shark fisherman to the other, keep up the good work. I loved the video, ive had plenty of similar nights. They suck but for some reason I keep going back for more.

Greetings from Galveston. lucky for us we have drive on beaches. with the Avet TRX drag system we have started making fighting chairs that you can slide into your bumper hitch on your truck. I got the idea from seeing people with bbq pits mounted that way and figured why not a chair. went to a boat yard and bought one for scrap price. not pretty but it works.

Its good for you to show the missed fish and fails which happen to ALL fishermen, beginner and expert alike. We all hook fish and miss at some point. I've been catching (for the most part) Brown shark in south Jersey for a few years. Extremely fun to catch and a great fight. Fish on and tight lines.

I just bought a Diawa (on your recommendation, plus other great reviews) BG 6500, for surf fishing. What rod would you recommend? Looking to catch big jacks, reds, etc. thinking a 8 heavy something or other that isnt to big so I can use to target tarpon inshore too. Thanks!

I'm at a pier in North Carolina trying to catch anything that will fight. I've been using normal 2 hook bottom rig with shrimp. I tried a red fish rig with circle hook and dead finger mullet with no success. Mainly fishing at night. Any tips would be appreciated.

I'm going to the ft lauderdale area Saturday, how hard is it to catch sharks casting from the beach right now. I don't want to waste money on a saltwater license if there really isn't a chance to catch anything

Hey there Victor, I live in Cape Town South Africa and i would like to know what would be the best pound line to use as i would like to take up fishing for sharks and larger fish.

I've never shark fished from the coast or in general but I love all your fishing content just because it's fishing, a bad day fishing is better than a day doing anything else
