I caught my biggest Yellowtail Snapper over the weekend while fishing a local wreck offshore. The fish was not a record, but certainly a trophy sized fish for local waters. The pan seared Yellowtail was fire! You have to give the crispy skin recipe a try! keep working at it kid and get a job as a working cook on a hotline. you sem to want to be a chef.
go check one out for a night where good food is made.
from where you are getting food, im assuming you are sort of close enough to chathams place, or victoria and alberts.
say you want to do it for a night. and try doing it with a pro for an evening. you will learn lots in just one night.

Hey there. That is one monster Yellowtail Snapper that you caught. I enjoy the fight that Yellowtail, Mutton, Mangrove, and Lane Snappers when they bite the bait. And very good to eat. I enjoy watching your videos especially on the videos where you show on how to net pinfish, ballyhoo, and mullet. I prefer to fish with live bait or frozen clean squid. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Miami.

i dont know if it will work for some fish but if you want the scales of without any mess and still have the skin on you just put the fish in a net behind the boat and tied to a rope and travel around 10 knots the scales come off, i normally use this techneque for whiting and i live in australia

Yo Vick. I think your knife skills are great! You plate well it always looks astonishing. Every time I view your finished product; unless ment to look simply put together it looks like a dish you would get at a five star restaurant. Keep doing what your doing Vick!

it's good to see how passionate you are about fishing as well as cooking, you put up beautiful meals with some of the ocean's finest, nice concept. nothing too fancy, but i'd pay to eat any one of your dishes.

Absolutely insane catch bro. And down home here in Trinidad we mostly cook our fish with the skin. Krispy skin is the way to go. Thumbs up from Trinidad. Keep on posting these awesome videos.
