Careless fishermen - plural? You have no idea what happened, yet are sure quick to condemn. Far more likely the seagull grabbed his line and flew off, snapping his line in the process. Happens to me two or three times a year, and seen it happen to others. Even if you're lucky enough to catch the bird, he's not going to cooperate. He's going to fight and bite. In the end, unless the hook frees itself during the fight, you'll have to cut the line.

How did the Dunked Reel survive? ( Still actually waiting for your indepth review of that Reel. Victor? )
Great to see, you put in the FAILS as well, a LOT of people just leave them out!
Hopefully that was not your NEW Rod that the Tip broke off of. looks like it could be a very quick fix.
As for the Bird Killer, I hope that KARMA gets you BAD!

Nice video man. Im originally from Florida and will be moving back super soon. im in Daytona right now and am gonna be doing some surf fishing I came down here on a brink so I gave none of my gear Im gonna be picking up something small. 3000 size reel can you give me any advice on what to fish for on the surf for tonight and in the morning?

Odds are the bird landed on the dock with the line already attached to him and became entangled after landing. Morons probably just broke the line off instead of reeling him in and releasing him properly. They left the swivel and popping cork attached as well. Thats just asking for an entanglement with whatever the bird lands on.

A good substitute for that ezswimmer is a zman paddlerz(they are pre-scented with procure mullet flavor as well. Pretty much same profile, and has really good action. Last a lot longer too. I love that elaztech stuff. So pliable and durable.

So sad people cant take care of what they catch, they were probably scared to grab the bird, if you are dont fish, we are guest in there realm, be respectful and do all you can to save things you hook on accident

You were fishing Lake O swill water Viktor. They are still dumping like a billion gallons of water a day out of the lock. Next time you guys should fish farther north to find the clean water and the fish.
