Sucks that you lost that Tarpon what sucks, even more, is now there are 150 yards of braided fishing line being dragged around by that poor Tarpon. You guys should think about maybe rigging correctly for the fish you're going after.

Fishing 20lbs braid for 40-100lbs fish? I fish 80lbs braid w/ 40lbs mono leaders for 12lbs cohos in the rivers here in AK. And halibut we fish 120lbs braid with 200-400lbs mono or Gagnon line leaders on size 16 circle hooks.
