Hi Robert, Carl here South Africa, I have watched a huge amount of your videos, some dont make sense as some are older than the ones that were supposed to follow. This one was the awsomest of all for me. I am a dad of three kids, of which my two sons, specially the second one Geb just loves watching videos with me and also likes to go fishing when we can. This is Africa so opportunity is not always there, but when it is we go and make the best of it. My cousin is Hennie Papenfuss, dont know if you know him or about him but as far as I know he caught the biggest Bull Shark ever in the Brede River. He made fishing his life for 12 years and many moons ago we actually had a fishing business called H & H fishing. Did not work out and I was a student and afterwards a teacher and it did not go anywhere. He went on become quite a celeb in fishing in S. A though and made some awesome videos himself. He only fishes for S. A now and when he wants too, family life is more important to him now, but he had quite a life doing what you are doing. Anyways, if you do ever come to S. A or Zim I have some connections and would love to go out and catch some nice fishes with you and my son Geb. Your his absolute hero! The impact you can have on a young mind is astounding with each of us beings a universe on its own. Best life to you man, nd keep at it as long as you can.

Thank you so much for this! Theo's mom and I have been best friends since we were his age. This past summer we threw our kayaks on our truck and drove from Austin to Maine, stopping to see Theo's family in Ithaca. Our sons bonded over rod and reel, our daughters had already become fast friends. Mike took my husband and the boys fishing a couple times in the area before we headed up to Lake Champlain, Maine, and the Outer banks where they continued the fun. We would love to meet you sometime in Texas!

A day of information sharing, demonstration of new product and try free, under the theme a fishing kayak, a boat to discover. The name of this event is: Invasion of Kayakers Fishermen 2019 (7th edition. I know 75 kayakers fishermen who would be most happy to shake your hand.

You indeed have the opportunity to impact the people around you. Keep it up my friend and if you are ever in Middle Tn I have a 10yr Old Boy that I am hoping will soon catch the bug. Got him a Yak and Rod just waiting for that bug to bite him.

Your an awesome dude for doing that for Theo. He looked like he saw a ghost when you first walked up like, he looks like Robert Field, but there's no way. Great video. Thank you. I see from many of the comments that you will be in the Midwest/west in 2020. I saw Minnesota, Colorado, and Montana mentioned. If you want to come fish the beautiful Black Hills in South Dakota, you have a place to park your camper and two kayak fishing locals to show you around.

Meet ups would be super awesome! I would have been awesome to meet you when you are in New York, but if you ever come back this way a meet up in Buffalo would be great for fishing lake Erie for smallies, freshwater drum, and so much more!
