In my first VLOG entry, I'm leaving Dallas, TX on my way to San Diego, CA to begin a month-long Field Trip exploring the west coast. I'll be fishing my way from San Diego up to Seattle and meeting different guides and personalities along the way. The series will air weekly on Tuesdays, and every Thursday will be behind-the-scenes VLOG episodes from the trip. The VLOG entries will feature everything from hiking to wildlife to brewery visits to cooking up a variety of fish from my trip

been watching since before your sponsors and charter series stuff and i gotta say man i love the vlog idea- your just an average guy trying to make it and showing us all the struggle of climbing the ladder to the top. with other youtubers you never see that. you usually just see a guy who seems to have too much youtube money and time on their hands. hopefully if you ever make it to the north east part of the country ill have my pa14 by then and catch a charter/ guide with you id love to hear it first hand about your travels and catch some fluke or striper- keep the content comming

That's a tough drive man. I've done it myself. Almost exactly the same route. From oklahoma to sandiego to seatle and back home through Idaho and Utah. Unfortunately I was working and didn't have really any fun. I would love to repeat the trip with kayak in tow. I can't wait to see the rest of the videos. I'll live vicariously through you i suppose. Lol.

Sounds like good stuff to me man, honestly I'm looking for more content to watch all the time even if it isn't directly fishing related. Brewery stops etc. Sounds good to me!
Hope you enjoy the West Coast I'm sure you'll probably run into several NCKA guys along the way, kayak fishing is pretty big around here.

I'm new to Kayak fishing and have been watching all your videos. I love the ideal of the Fields Trip. Looking to the rest of the episodes. I'm also looking forward to the east coast version. I live off Lake Champlain look me up if you need a place to crash. Keep up the great work.

Cool man I only met you once at Lake Fork back in October 2015 at a Mariner Sails kayak bass tournament. You were a really cool dude, me and my buddies asked you about the Devils river trip and you were happy to talk with us about it. Can't wait to see these adventures to come!

My son went on a over nite charter this weekend, out past Catalina island, left his yak at home, 40 fishermen only 4 tuna caught, he didn't get one, the place they had intended to fish was quarentined because of navey exercises.

It's going to be my fishing goal to retrace this trip in the next five years. If it wasn't for the 3. 5 year old I'd get up and go now.
